Dr. Angela Kay Curry, MD

She is a nice person, but would not recommend as a doctor. I had a surgery with her, and then had complications. I called her nurse and was told to call back the next day. She is in too big of a hurry to get things done. Go elsewhere.

I met w/Dr. Curry on multiple occasions to discuss & treat my dysmenorrhea & I have been extremely disappointed w/my experience. I told her that there was a high likelihood that my body would not respond well when having an IUD inserted & she said it was highly unlikely that I would feel much pain at all. Minutes later I was pale & clammy & vomiting while on the bathroom floor- I was in extreme pain for 2 weeks after. I went in multiple times after it was placed to describe all of the adverse effects on my body but she assured me that everything would stabilize after 6 months. 8 months later & my body was still feeling terrible so I made an appointment to have it removed. This time she interrupted me while I was describing the adverse effects it had on my body & my protestations about taking another form of hormonal birth control (I have tried many & none have been good for my body). She prescribed me hormonal birth control and refused to help w/pain management. I would not recommend.

Dr. Curry replaced my doctor and the bar was set very high for her, because Dr. Paulson was such a great caretaker. I could not have been more pleased with my visit. She had clearly read my chart before I arrived and was aware of the health concerns that I have in my history. She followed up with her thoughts about them and we discussed things openly. I left there feeling very excited to have her as my physician.

Dr. Curry is beyond amazing! She is the most sincere and caring physician I have ever met. She goes above and beyond to give her patients the best care possible; even calling at home to check on how things are going. She is an outstanding doctor and awesome person. B

Absolute best bedside manner. She wanted to make sure I was completely comfortable and told me everything she was doing before doing it. Checked on me multiple times during exam to make sure I was okay physically and emotionally.

Dr. Curry is very Good. She took a lot of time with me and help me with all my questions.

I think the most part of my visit with her is her compassion for you as a person she takes time to talk and sit with you before each visit she is very gentle and explains everything and answers all your questions .

I called today. I am 30 weeks and have been trying to get into a doctor for 3 months. It says on here they are accepting new patients and take Medicaid. Lies. They would not see me because I have medicaid. I am giving up on getting a doctor. I should have listened to my family when they said Arkansas is not a place to have a baby

I have been a patient of Dr. Curry's for many years. When I became pregnant, she delivered my son and the experience was great! I had a difficult pregnancy with complications and pre-term labor. I was scared because this was my first pregnancy so I did not know what to expect. Dr. Curry was open and honest with me and explained everything thoroughly. She calmed my fears. She errs on precaution and is very thorough at every appointment. I did carry to 37 weeks at which point I was induced. Dr. Curry has a wonderful personality and bed side manner. I had a long labor in which most doctors these days would encourage a c-section (for their convenience). Dr. Curry had my health and my child's health as top priority and she was confident in me to endure the long labor and still have the energy to push. She said as long as the baby was fine and I felt fine that we would let the labor progress. I was progessing, just slowly. Most doctors would have recommended a c-section, but she… did not. She is the best at what she does in my opinion! She is also a nice person in general. I highly recommend Dr. Curry! Love her!

I was extremely nervous about getting my first Pap smear. Dr. Curry made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. As soon as she started talking to me I was at ease. My friends have told me horror stories about their first Pap smear and compared to theirs, Dr. Curry's sounds more like a fairy tale. I would recommend her to any one.
