Dr. Angela Maria Keon, MD

Dr. Keon is a caring, compassionate, knowledgeable physician. The office staff is another story. They can be very rude to the patients and definitely mismanage her time and appointment schedule. If you are planning on becoming a patient of this office, prepare yourself for a long wait!! You will need hours of time to get through an appointment. It is a very frustrating experience.

Looking for my primary care physician I chose wisely when I moved to Punta Gorda 3 years ago. Being a RN I had very specific expectations as well as high standards for the physician who was to be my care professional, one who managed my wellness and illness with equal time and communication. Dr. Keon met plus exceeded these standards. She spends as much time that is needed explaining issues as well as discussing resolutions. On the occasions that there is a wait in the office she has and will provide me with the same time needed to treat my concerns. Simply the BEST!!!!!

I did not wait 2 hours. As a new patient, she was very patient and thorough with her questions about me. She found my heart wasn't healthy. I didn't even realize it. An EKG was done and I was scheduled for several more tests. I am very pleased and impressed. I will continue seeing Dr. Keon.

You will wait in the exam room for 2 hours every time you go. I guess her time is more valuable than yours. She will order every test under the Florida sun that you don't need and then not treating you for what you came in for in the first place. If you want to pay someone to tell you to eat right and exercise then this is the doctor for you. Otherwise don't waste your time and money! Very rude and unprofessional! Never will I return here.

Go see her if you want to waste 2 hours of your time waiting for her to show up in the exam room every time you go. She orders a million tests that you don't need, and doesn't treat you for the reason you went there to begin with. Staff is very unfriendly too. Will NEVER go back. What a joke this place!
