Dr. Angela Mennicke Lopez, MD

Dr. Angela Lopez was my sisters doctor who was fighting ALL leukemia.She was at Cedars for a bone marrow transplant which I was her donor. I had a weird suspicios feeling when something was wrong she wouldnt come out with the truth.It wasnt until my sister relapsed and had to have a second transplant that she stopped making her rounds to check up on my sister. She wasnt showing her face when they told us that they couldnt do nothing else for my sister. All in all, it was a horrible experience and I refuse to set foot on Cedars ever again.

Patient presented with cough and extreme weakness, had emailed regular Cedars physician warning of precipitous fall off in health status. Dr Lopez deigned to see him, chatted for a few minutes, never examined him in any way -- didn't listen to his chest, didn't even do an oxygen saturation measurement. Said she saw no reason to hospitalize him, sent him home. He died two weeks later due in large part to the pneumonia she failed to detect.

I believe she was the main reason for my son's death. He was 26 years old and not in the hospital for a full day when she immediately started filling him with her cocktail of choice which was Arsenic and Chemotherapy. Every 24 hours I watched him spiral downward faster than I could do anything to save him. After 26 days in the hospital he gave up. He dies @ 12:57 and was in the room until around 8 PM. She never even came for him that entire day while in the same building. Stay away from her!!!

Really cares. She saved my boyfriend's life and even though we could have gone to other hospitals/ Dr.'s I never doubted that she was the best dr for him. I fully trust her and I developed respect and even (I know it sounds crazy) love for her. Her staff is equally amazing. I love Wendi she makes everything easy.
