5 days ago As others have stated this "Psychiatrist" is Heartless and doesn't care about helping others. Ms. Louie set me back 5 years, because she flat-out called me a liar when I informed her about my medications that I had been prescribed in the past. She said "if that were true and [ I ] had been on those medications, my name would be on a 'certain list'..? But, it was nowhere to be found!" She said "You are Lying!" What she did not do is use a little common sense to see that I had been pregnant and nursing so, was therefore, off my meds for over a year (which I informed them of prior, and was why I needed to seek help to get back on them). She also should have seen, by simply looking at my chart, that before moving here I lived in a different state where I was receiving said medications. She is NOT very kind and NOT very bright! I had been treated so poorly and was so traumatized that I didn't seek help for 4 years after this difficult experience!!! : , ( Thanks for being so… Cold-hearted by treating me like a drug seeking Addict and hindering me from getting my mental illness under control!

I was thinking about visiting this Dr. If she drops people that miss an appointment because of a medical emergency, then maybe she needs counseling. Besides she doesn't even accept insurance.

I have severe depression and this doctor listens and takes time with me and is able to hear me instead of me filling out forms where I rate my depression levels Myself. Other doctors I have experience with, evaluate your by filling out forms. dr Louie asks questions ... And then she makes the decision and then she makes the decision.

I have been a patient of Dr. Louie's for a couple of years. I was skeptical about seeing a Psychiatrist because I did not want to be 'branded' as not being 'normal'. My only regret is that I did not meet her sooner. Many years ago, I was diagnosed with PMDD, which is a severe type of PMS. The doctors could never get my medication balanced for my PMDD, where I did not feel my world was crashing down once a month (and it lasted for over a week each month). Dr. Louie not only prescribed the proper medication so that I did not go through that every month but after speaking with her, she soon realized the anxiety I was experiencing as well. I just went into this website to rate Dr. Louie and write a review because of the positive impact she has had on my life. There were many good reviews, but I was shocked to see some of the reviews written that were negative. They must have the wrong Dr. Louie. There are several psychiatrists out there with the same name. Dr. Louie always sends a reminder… about your appointment and is very flexible to work with your schedule. She has never, ever been late or canceled or rescheduled one of my appointments. I usually have at least one big thing that I need to talk thru with her, and she is so patient and so kind and she gives me advice that has always been beneficial to helping me solve my issue. Sometimes I ramble for our entire appointment and she is just so patient to listen to everything I have to say. She always asks if my medications are still working for me and if we need to change anything. Someone in their review said they had an issue with the pharmacy. That has nothing to do with Dr. Louie. I would say that is the pharmacy. I have never had one issue with the pharmacy not filling my prescriptions on time. I have referred several of my friends to Dr. Louie and they told me how much they loved her and how appreciative they were that I referred them to her. I was referred by a friend as well. I honestly do not know what state of mind I would be in if it was not for Dr. Louie. I was constantly picking fights with my husband each time I went thru PMS. In addition to that, I am not sure I would have been able to keep my job and my family needs both my husband's income and mine to live the lifestyle we live. I absolutely love Dr. Louie and I highly recommend going to see her if you have depression, anxiety or just know that you do not feel good mentally and you don't understand why you feel that way. My attitude was that I am a strong woman and I can persevere thru anything and everything (job, husband, kids, etc.). My thoughts were, "I don't need a therapist and I do not want anyone to tell me that I am not 'normal' and I have issues.". I remember the first time I ever met with Dr. Louie and as we were finishing up my appointment I thanked her for making it so easy to talk to her and letting me know that I was 'normal'. She let me know that there are lots of people that need psychologists or psychiatrists (more so today than ever before in the fast-paced world we live in). Dr. Louie helped to save my marriage and my career. I feel better than I have ever felt before and I owe and thank Dr. Louie for helping me! She is the best! Thank you, Dr. Louie, for what you have done for me and many others!

I have been in the care of Dr. Louie for the last few years. I have ADD and mild anxiety and we have worked out a perfect prescription balance for my life. I see Dr. Louie every three months primarily due to the ADD medication being a controlled product and I have always enjoyed our conversations even when she was confronting mindsets that I am far better off without. She is a perfect assist for keeping me aligned and balanced with my perspectives on a great many subjects.

Was very pleased to find such a knowledgeable and understanding psychiatrist for the first time in my life. We maintained a great patient-doctor rapport for a few years...and then she dropped me. By text message. Because I had to cancel an appointment. I suffer from severe depression, anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD, insomnia, ADD. I was left alone to ween myself off Xanax, klonopin, Ritalin, Ambien. Have been hospitalized TWICE because of this. Now, I am too anxious to leave the house; in fact, most days I find getting out of bed almost impossible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, DO NOT RUIN YOUR LIFE.

She found the perfect combo of meds for me and then there was one TINY issue completely out of my control and she dropped me. My mom begged her to keep me so did my dad, she is an ice queen who doesnt care about her patients, she just cares about being in control I have 2 types of cancer and she still dropped me because I missed an appointment due to a medical emergency but that wasnt a good enough reason for her. As soon as something doesnt go her way she will drop you, dont make the mistake of relying on her

I was a patient of Dr. Angela Louie for close to 3 years. She prescribed adderall for my attention deficit disorder, hence I saw her every 3 months. She is extremely knowledgeable and proficient at sharing information. During my appointments with her she was cordial and even fun to converse with. When I needed to contact her she responded to my texts promptly. But then there was problem with my pharmacy. A problem over which I had no control. A problem requiring far too many additional phone calls because of poor communication on the part of Walgreen's. And so she dropped me. I have been withdrawing from adderall for weeks now. I have offered to change my pharmacy. I have begged her to reinstate the final Rx so I do not go off adderall abruptly. She is as cold as ice in refusing to help me. I did not go to her looking for a new 'best friend' however I expected to be treated with compassion and respect. I wish I had never met her.

She spent a long time just listening to me and had some really helpful comments. I was a bit nervous about seeing a psychiatrist, but she put me as ease. I felt like she understood my issues and cared about me as a person. I look foward to seeing her again.
