Dr. Angela Carol Mix, DO

Mechanical, inconsiderate, selfish, focused on her schedule! We were seeing this doctor for 12 years, and always on time for appointments. For this morning's appointment, we were little late to get to their office, because they moved to new location. They did call on Friday and said they moved, but the move was to the building right next to old one. So, assuming it would be same parking lot I pulled in and walked towards medical offices to find that that building is not within the vicinity of 5/7 minutes walking. Called their office at 9:11 (call photo attached, our appt was 9:15), asked for the building location and notified them that we are still walking. The new building was not in that location, it was in next block. By the time we walked back to car, and went to their office it was 9:20. We explained the situation, but we were denied of the appt as we were late. Requested her staff to reconsider, and I said we can wait as long as it needs, as I do not want my daughter to… loose another day of school, she was firm and rude on my request. I was shocked to see that kind of mechanical and inconsiderate response. For a kid's doctor to be this inconsiderate was unimaginable to me. I understand Dr.'s schedule is cramped, but one 15 minute appointment is not difficult to squeeze. I am a professional, my clients get late or little early all the time, little bit of flexibility comes with the profession. Clients too have to interrupt their schedule to come see a doctor, lawyer etc. Every professional does it. But this one is different, I felt like her appt time was god made, cant be changed! Good bless her.

When I began looking for a pediatrician for our first born son, I came across West Plano Pediatrics. Dr. Mix was accepting patients so I made an appointment to speak with her. From the moment I met her, I felt absolutely comfortable and at ease. She answered all of my questions, and I had a lot, being a first time mom. She is so sweet and handled my newborn as if he were her own. At three months, my son had started to develop torticollis and we immediately started physical therapy. He has excelled and we ended up not having to put him in a helmet. She is so attentive and has the best interest of your child. I'm so pleased and grateful for Dr. Mix, I couldn't ask for a better Doctor for my son!

Dr. Mix was very patient with my twin girls and took the time to explain everything in detail about their treatment plan. We love having her as our pediatrician.
