Angela M Parise, MD

My few experiences with her were terrible. Her bedside manner is not for anyone with anxiety or past trauma. She did nothing to familiarize herself with my situation despite both my regular doctor and myself reaching out to her office prior to my first appointment. I initially went in for a consultation only where she pushed an exam instead. She did a Pap smear with me having a panic attack on the table. There was no empathy or concern for me. She then decided to forgo a biopsy and wanted to schedule me to have it done in the OR along with another procedure never bothering to explain why or anything to me. I requested another appointment to discuss this with her. At that appointment she then changed her tune after hearing all of my symptoms and said I needed a hysterectomy. After making a decision as to which route to go I made another appointment for her to address my questions because she didn’t answer or respond to my questions through the patient portal. I waited 30 minutes for… her to come in for her to spend 5 minutes with me before dashing off to a delivery. She may be okay for the average person but steer clear if you have anxiety.

Dr.Parise is an amazing doctor. She takes her time with her patients and has great bedside manner.

My appointment happened over 10 years ago but it is still a fresh wound. I was miscarrying at around 11 weeks of pregnancy and had to go back in for routine blood work and an ultrasound. My regular doctor was called into surgery so I had to see Dr. Parise. I was understandably upset and crying while waiting for her to start and I told her I was sorry for crying about the baby and she told me I should be sorry- that there wasn't anything to cry over because I was still so early in the pregnancy. Mind you I was 11 weeks pregnant and had previously seen the heart beat on an ultrasound. She was so cruel and so callous and just a horrible person. I mentioned it to the nurses at the time and actually wound up switching practices so I never had to run the risk of seeing her again. She is absolutely the worst doctor out there- ZERO empathy for a woman suffering and upset. This visit has stuck with me for over a decade and I can only hope she gained a little empathy. For someone who allegedly… hides behind being religious she had zero respect for the life I lost on that day.

Dr. Parise does not understand the science around terminations of pregnancies and allows her personal religious beliefs to impact her science-based work. I do not feel as though she can discuss to spectrum of options available to a pregnant woman appropriately.

My internist recommended Dr. Parise years ago for something she found during a routine visit. Her name sounded familiar, but I didn't remember the young woman until I checked this page and saw her picture. The experience was horrible. After waiting over an hour past my scheduled appt, she came into the room giggling and telling jokes with her colleagues about her plans for the weekend. During the examination, I seemed more like a burden than a patient she was examining. It was very disconcerting. It was obvious that she was distracted. Her behavior was strange for a grown woman who was a doctor. I noticed as I was checking out that she was high-fiving nurses while skipping down the hallway. (I was her last patient of the day.) I overheard Parise speaking loudly to one of the nurses that it was Friday, and she couldn't wait to start her weekend. She seemed more like a party girl than an MD - Definitely poor bedside manner and immaturity. Not sure if she is competent or not. I found… another OB - Didn't allow her to treat me.

Bad appointment, bad follow all related to a consult. Thus I did not pick her has my gyno. If you have any condition or question that requires more sensitivity, tact or thought I would go elsewhere for care.

GREAT DR. REFERRED HER TO BOTH OF MY FRIENDS WHO WERE PREGNANT AND THEY BOTH FELT LIKE THEY WERE IN GREAT HANDS ONCE MEETING HER.

A doctor who is a great listener, I can not say enough about her- her staff is professional and warm, and she is top flight when it comes to the latest treatmets...

I would have to say Dr Parise, is a wonderful doctor she helped me through the most trying pregnancy and was always so compassionate with me and my feelings. I truely beleive god sent me an angel when i found her and i would not of asked for anyone else The only Dr I truely trust in the care for my unborn child.

In process of selecting an OBGYN and chose this doctor from doctors list. I did not feel comfortable with her results. There is something about this doctor that as a patient, i felt uneasy with her bedside manner. I am a senior and for the times I would need to see an OBGYN, I will not return to her.
