Dr. Angela Jill Seda, MD

Posting this review on my mother’s behalf who was their patient for the past several months. I would not recommend this office to anyone - especially anyone who does their own research and advocates for any part of their treatment deviating from Dr Seda’s exact status quo. The front office is unorganized and down right disrespectful. They took it upon themselves to go ahead and schedule a surgery for me without a formal approval and gave me less than 2 weeks notice. Then miscommunicated the surgery date several times to the plastic surgeon and I had to call them myself to sort it out. Upon changing the date, they told me the longer I “wait” to schedule surgery the less my chance of survival (classic scare tactics) and referenced a date of diagnosis that was well over 60 days off. Additionally, when I informed them I was seeking a second opinion Delilah stated “haven’t you already done that” and “I guess you don’t respect Dr Seda’s opinion” which is not only out of line but… egregiously ignorant - if they are so secure in their expertise a second (or third) opinion would not be an issue. Getting ahold of Dr Seda for any follow up questions was also nearly impossible and a majority of the questions were met with hostility and ego issues. It was even suggested that if we didn’t “remember” the answer to a particular pre op question - perhaps it was because my grand daughter was at the appointment and “distracting” yet Dr Seda never mentioned she planned to do a double mastectomy and I guess would have just let me wake up to that surprise had I not followed up. In a line of work that directly affects people’s lives and bodies you would expect egos and power tripping admin to withhold their personal issues but at this office that is not the case. I can only imagine how they treat the patients who have questions AFTER they take your money.

Worst possible experience with Sr.Seda’s office staff while trying to set myself up as a new patient. Extremely rude and unprofessional to a patient that just got diagnosed with cancer. She might be a great doctor but dealing with her office staff is a pain and not worth my time. I would rather go see someone else.

Dr. Seda alone is absolutely wonderful. Great surgery, great bedside manner, available at many hospitals. However, good luck scheduling... it takes days and days to finally get through to someone to schedule. I hope she can fix this issue before it impacts her clientele.

Dr.Seda did a thorough and professional job as a general surgeon. It was my first time having any surgery done and so I was very nervous about it. She explained everything beforehand and made me feel confident and relaxed before I had my surgery. She then followed up with me the next day and was very and caring. She was concerned my physical well-being and if there were any needs that weren't being met. I definitely would recommend her as a surgeon for anyone facing surgery.
