Dr. Angela Tsai Robson

Angela Tsai Robson, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry in 2006 from Indiana University Bloomington's School of Optometry, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Optometry. As an undergraduate, she was an Eli Lily Endowment and Howard T. Batman Scholar. While attending college, she worked in the Pediatrics/Binocular Vision Clinic and the optical laboratory at the School of Optometry. Her interests include ocular disease, pediatric care, visual therapy, specialty contact lenses, dry eye, myopia control, and aesthetics. Dr. Tsai Robson is a Fellow of the Virginia Academy of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association, the Virginia Optometric Association, and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. She currently serves as the vice president of the Battlefield Optometric Association. In 2013, Dr. Tsai Robson completed her term as the youngest U.S. optometrist to serve as president of the Virginia State Board of Optometry after being a board …member for three years. She is an active member of her community, participating with the Chamber of Commerce and previously with the Next Generation Business Leaders, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society Corporate Achievers, and the Health Advisory Committee for Fredericksburg Head Start. Her honors and awards include: "Top 10 of the Next Gen" of the Fredericksburg Chamber of Commerce, Women in Optometry's Most Influential "Rising Star," "Best Optometrist" in the Fredericksburg Freelance Star Newspaper multiple years, and "Best Optometrist" in Fredericksburg Parent Magazine. When Dr. Tsai Robson is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Patrick, their three dogs, Marty McFly, Oscar, and Mbappe, and her twin nieces and nephew. Her hobbies include reading, golfing, running, traveling, and air sports.
