Dr. Angela Wright, MD

I had a appointment with Dr. Wright about a week ago first time remind you. First off I went because yes she’s a black physician( I was like yes) someone I can really relate to. The staff was so friendly but when she walked yes she did introduce herself and asked me a little about myself. I’ve been having headaches a lot plus it was time for a annual check up with a PCP so I decided to go with her instead of AUMC. I should’ve just stayed with them. I told her about my headaches how they come daily she didn’t even order a cut scan or mri just to see that’s going in internal. She stated “ take Tylenol every night” to see if that works. If it did I wouldn’t gave made them appt with her. Ok so she stated she would send a prescription for naprosyn but she never did. And I didn’t even bother to call her and request for her to do so. I just made me a appointment somewhere else hopefully they can help me. This doc will never have to worry about me or my family members coming to her. She was… very nonchalant, maybe because I was young and the crowd in there were a little older. Maybe she takes to older people more. My sister went the following week same first time coming to her and she said the same she’ll never return to Dr. Wright. My sister stated she even heard he doctor talking rude outside the room to a nurse. This doctor need to learn some bedside manners that’ll get her further in life. You never know who your patient is and who they know. Just be mindful of how you treat people we came to you because we were proud and this doctor let us down, oh well I guess when you become a physician and your African American you forget the struggle of where you came from so you can appreciate where you are in life now. And never look down on others because we have good insurance so what was the problem?!

Dr. Wright is a very loving and caring doctor. She is a family doctor. I have an awesome experience each time I visit her office. The intake workers, nurses etc are all loving as well. Thanks Dr. Wright

Dr.Overstreet has a very good bedside manner and understands her patients.
