Dr. Angelica K. Gierut, MD

After setting up a telehealth visit with Dr. Gierut, with her prior approval, she canceled the appt. at the last minute (literally right before the appt. was to begin) saying I had to see her in person. I had waited for that appt. for months, and to be told that I had to start all over again and make another appt. was inexcusable. Dr. Gierut is also terrible about responding to emails sent to her via My Chart, and will sometimes ignore them altogether. To her credit, she seems to be very knowledgeable, but she has little respect for her patients' feelings and personal time.

Dr. Angelica Gierut (RA specialist) from the Northwestern was not able to provide us the diagnosis after Six months of experimental series of test. My mother’s ESR and CRP were elevated for over twelve months and RA Specialist Dr. Gierut didn’t took any steps until they were way out of control over 80 and 110. And at the end Dr Angelica Gierut prescribed heavy dose of PREDNISONE medication for two months which made the patient feel great but it hided the cause of inflammation. Finally my mother has left us. She was Dr. Gierut patient for over two - three years. I would never ever recommend either one of them.

Dr. Gierut is a God send for me. She is extremely knowledgable. She LISTENS to your concerns and addresses them. She doesn't ignore your concerns or worries. She's a human doctor, one that relates to her patients, and goes above and beyond for her patients. I wish I had found Dr. Gierut last year when I was diagnosed with RA. There's nothing bad I can say about her. I would travel states to see her, that's how good she is. I HIGHLY recommend her. You will not be disappointed.

There's no words can describe the respect I have for this dr . She is listen and explain to me everything she an angel who comfort your pain with the right diagnosis. Big thank for Dr Angelica gierut ??

Dr. Gierut is a understaning doctor that will actually listen to you and do her best and gives her best to all patients. She is the only doctor out of a half dozen that took her time and researched me to find the cause of my illness. She is highly intelligent and does her job incredibly well. I highly recomend her.

I have searched high and low to find the right doctor. she fits the bill. kind, professional,knows her stuff. as a nurse myself, I just don't let anyone take care of me. i will follow her to her new surroundings
