Dr. Anh Van Nguyen, MD

It has been a pleasure to have Dr Nguyen as my dermatologist for many years. Evetything about him and, more recently, his son has always left me feeling properly cared for. Must say that the few negative comments in his reviews surprise me. I wonder why I am always happy there and they aren’t ..

Very good with me, as I am 80 yrs old, and have skin cancers that pop up on my hands. I value his experiance.

Quick and efficient.

If you live in Tomball and don't want to drive to the Woodlands or Spring, this is what you get. And it is not bad. The doctor is great, very caring, explains everything in detail and I have no problems at all with him. As others have said, some of the office staff----not the nurses who aid the doctor----are a little ........well, let's just say they act more like somebody you would encounter up north and not in Texas. And I am only going by the last time I was there, it seems like there are always new people working there. Unfortunately, this is not limited to this practice, I have noticed that at other doctor's offices in Tomball. It must be all the people moving in from California and up north. Other than that, no problems at all with this doctor.

Being with him for around 4 -6 yrs. No complaint until today.

I haven't even seen the doctor yet because my appointment date has not come up and this place was horrible! Not the cleaniless, but the staff! They were very rude and very sassy. I'm a new patient, but I don't think I'm going to come back. The appointment I have scheduled is soon to be canceled after the way I was treated today. There were very consistent with their sass and I felt very offended.

An apathetic secretary who works for the doctor gets my vote for the least pleasant and most arrogant scheduler I have ever met. Her name is Jessica and I don't see why she has a job.

Dr. Nguyen is a wonderful dermatologist. Dr. Nguyen was highly recommended by my general practitioner. An appointment was scheduled the next day. ( I did not have to wait weeks/months.)The staff was professional and informative.

I was surprised to see the negative comments for Dr. Nguyen because I have always found him to be very kind. He may be a little awkward due to perhaps English being his second language, but never dismissive or rude. He has always taken my concerns seriously. I was diagnosed with a very early stage Melanoma a few years back, and he spent a good amount of time explaining my options and potential outcomes. I now go to him twice a year. I do agree that the office staff- particularly the nurses are not very warm and fuzzy- but I'm a grown woman and really don't care much about a bunch of 20-something year old girls. As for having to come back for procedures- while it may be aggravating its also understandable because there may be unforseen complications with a mole removal, so it makes sense to block the appropriate time to manage these cases. At any rate- my two cents. I think he is a great doctor.

My mom had food allergies and was charged $140 for him to diagnosis her with indoor/outdoor allergies and told her to take Allegra Allergy everyday for the rest of her life, ha! She doesn't take medication at all. She's very upset! And will not be returning.
