Dr. Anil Darbari, MD

Patient was a five year old child and needed seen. Our insurance was to be prior authorized and the staff refused to see him until it was done by me the parent. Gateway our insurance was telling me, mom, that it was the doctors office to call and make sure they had authorization. I told the staff this and Lucia was rude and acted like this was my fault. I then requested to see the office manager. A child needs care how uncompassionate can you be. Get a new job then. The girl beside Lucia was just as snotty. Dirty looks. Dissatisfied.

For being the only pediatric GI motility specialist in the DMV area, this doctor does a disservice to his patients. He is not interested in helping his patients. His take is that people have to train their brain to live with their ailments. His bedside manners are non existent. Would not recommend this doctor.

This doctor has no compassion. He is unprofessional and moved our appointment twice with no explanation. He did not help one bit and was not bothered to even review history properly. Will not recommend especially if the patient is a teen.

Dr. Darbari saved my little girl’s life. He listened to my concerns when I knew something was terribly wrong. He consulted with experts due to her CF diagnosis and collaboratively developed a plan of action. She was 3 years old at the time. She is 8 now. We still see him. Excellent care, bedside manner with little kids is amazing. He treats parents with respect and makes sure they understand everything. All around great doctor.

This guy is a lying unscrupulous scumbag Completely without integrity and NOT interested in your child's best interests STAY AWAY!!!!

Dr Darbari was more than an hour late for intake appointment. He did a surgical procedure which had severe complications. He acted defensive and unconcerned. Most of the care is done by phone through his PA at National Children's Hospital. I wish we had never been referred to this doctor.

My daughter-in-law was pushing for my grandson to see a specialist do to him having problem going to the bathroom. We were recommended to see Dr. Darbari and what a great experience. The staff was great and we were taken back within 10 minutes of arriving and Dr. Darbari came in when we still filling out the paperwork. The concerns were explained to him via my daughter-in-law. He did an exam on my grandson and said there were no concerns and went into a complete explanation why he had no concerns and made sure that everyone understood why he had no concerns. Dr. Darbari was very personable, very easy to understand and he really took the time to listen. I would recommend him to anyone for there child!
