Dr. Anil Kumar Dutt, MD

Dr. Dutt in 1999 at his office in Alabama. He did my surgery removeda 95 pd tumor from my right side of abdomen. He did a fanastic job i was able to walk and still moving about. I weigh 482 lbs then i feel like a total new person if I need surgery again I most definite would do what i could to find him. Great surgeon.

My Father-in-law had general bowel surgery done by Dr. Anil Dutt 2 years ago. Needless to say he never made it out of the hospital alive. Long story short the Dr. Didn't properly close the procedure and my Father-in-law was bleeding internally, after 3 hours in recovery room he came to ICC and I asked the Dr. Why his abdominal area was distended, he said "oh that's just from surgery". I then had to force staff to call a code as my Father-in-law was in arrest. Dr. Dutt asked me in a smart a_ _ way "what would you like me to do"? I said labs, ultrasound of abdomen, perhaps blood if needed. Afterwards he did need blood 4 units and abdomen was growing it was obvious he was bleeding and in hypovolemic shock. In recovery the Dr. Ordered 4 bags of saline due to crashing BP and vitals. This is a sign is it not in the beginning that he was bleeding and abdomen was growing. Anyway he was transferred from Titusville P.A. hospital to Hamot hospital Erie P.A. and in route had to be coded again due… to cardiac arrest, upon arrival he went into surgery and 2 plus liters of blood was removed from his abdomen and the botched bowel surgery repaired. It was to late he died days later never to recover. Dr. Dutt was just recently fired at Titusville hospital due to patient deaths in excess amount??? What number is needed to be considered excessive in deaths? This was also the same i a New York hospital before coming to Titusville P.A. How sad Titusville even considered him let alone hired him. It's the 20th century get online the information is there. Shame on this inept Dr. and Titusville hospital. There's more but this is the quick.

He did surgery on me be a year this coming Feb. and the wound site has not healed shut yet and I have had cellulitis every since he did my surgery. This Dr should have his licence removed and never aloud to work as a doctor again. He lost his licence to work in Ny hospital and then moved to Titusville,PA to work at the hospital there.

Our issue was very small. Mic-Key Button removal; But he handled it very quickly and the whole staff was courteous and kind. Follow up was easy.

my cousins wife and a few others i know personally almost died because of him;was supposed to have lost his license after they sued him and the hospital.

I Knew him from a previous ecountores he had done many surgery's on me. I have lupus and problems with cyst. In my opinion he is a very good dr and i miss him he takes pride in his work and cares for his patients. he is not like most dr's hit it and hand it off.If he see's a problem he can't handel he will find someone that will and will still be there to see it through. i wish he was still here.

Met him in the emergency room at a former hospital. He did emergency gall bladder surgery, clipped my bile duct, I nearly died, he showed no remorse and did not follow up at all. After subsequent surgeries, I still have problems. I met others who encountered this same problem and family members of others who died at his hand.
