Dr. Anil Kumar Puri, MD

I went through an at-home sleep study through the Putnam Hospital and had a follow up appointment scheduled with Dr. Puri for diagnosed sleep apnea. I arrived before my scheduled appointment and after waiting for over 1.5 hours I had to reschedule due to a prior commitment. Just prior to my next scheduled appointment I called ahead to see if he was on time and was told to come 1/2 hour after my scheduled appointment. I arrived as requested and waited yet another 1.5 hours and could not wait any longer. When my General Practioner told me Dr. Puri was the only Dr. in town with this specialty, I called again to get another appointment. Brandy told me she would call me back with the next scheduled appointment she could get. When I didn't hear back from her for a week, I called the office again and left a message and one month later I have still not heard back. Luckily I'm willing to travel to Athens and have received the attention I should have received with Dr. Puri and… his staff.

Dr. Puri is an extremely thorough, professional, and caring physician. I highly recommend him and his team!

Dr. Puri was my wife and my general practitioner. His diagnosis was either unclear or incorrect. Unfortunately, we were his patients for two years before I realized our mistake. He was never available at the appointed time and the wait was almost always over an hour.
