Dr. Anil Saxena, MD

Dr.Saxena is downright awful. Read the other reviews stating nearly similar comments on this medical doctor. If your minor is seeing him make sure to sit in as many visits as viable and observe for yourself. Should have took heed from my own therapist who warned of him and his negative standing in the mental health community and clearly among a good amount of his patients. He rushes through appointments, he seems to want to diagnose everyone and their mother with ADHD. Having personal expertise in the mental health field and as the parent of a minor challenging or even questioning Dr.Saxenas methods of treatment he will instantly become combative and disgustingly rude. I am baffled as to how this man is in practice and actually ever was. Do yourself and/or your child a favor and search elsewhere, almost anything would be a better option than this man. Having done 14 years of therapy myself as well as Psychiatrists as an adult I was mortified to say the least to observe this mans… behavior and how he addresses mental health. Dr.Saxena could use a Psychiatrist or two himself personally speaking. Your child/minor deserves better, am baffled how he has a single positive review.

The almighty dollar over the welfare of the patient. He should not be allowed to practice!

This doctor and I use the term loosely subscribed my son adhd medicine within the first 5 minutes, the rest of the time was used for him to publicly humiliate my wife in front of our child and send her out the door and through the waiting room crying. I called and asked for him, then requested a letter of apology and asked that in his profession. Ie psychology if it’s standard practice to berate the parents and just give out drugs to kids. I hope this guys practice becomes exposed. Here’s medication. I won’t give you advice but I’ll berate you. Bravo you drug pusher

He is always willing to spend so much time with my issues. It is rare in today's times that a doctor answers your call or returns calls within an hour! Dr. Saxena is very good at diagnosing.

This Dr. was recommended by my son’s therapist (with reservation) due to possible ADD symptoms. During the initial consultation, and quick Q&A session, the focus shifted from my son to ME. I told him that I was not there to be diagnosed, but my CHILD was. He proceeded to subtly make fun of me and act condescending toward me. When I turned in the convoluted pile of paperwork without my complete address, he asked me “if I knew what town I lived in”. Misogynistic chauvinist who diagnoses after Ten minutes. Avoid.

He has been wonderful with my son. He diagnosed and treated my child and now my child is getting As in his class.

The most unprofessional, rude and arrogant healthcare provider I have ever come across. He had evaluated my child at the request of her school.... did not take any of my input into consideration at all. Dismissed all the information I relayed via her pediatrician, telling me her Dr was wrong for not putting her on medication. THEN he proceeded to tell me I was not ready to help my daughter because I would not medicate her with ADHD meds. He was extremely bias and badgered me in front of my childs school staff about how medication is the ONLY thing that works and she needs to be on it. I have never been so under minded, disrespected as a parent and had my intentions as a mother questioned. He should be ashamed of himself. Doctors like him is what gives the healthcare industry a bad name. And he certainly should NOT be working with kids.

He is rude , doesn't like to answer questions, doesn't bielive addiction,,abuse , I do not trust him making any assessments on any child
