She's a great doctor been with her for 10yrs

Dr. Thampy was seeing my daughter after she was born, in the hospital. I am not that happy with the overall experience. The Dr. is very nice and knowledgable, but I felt like she was pushing a surgery for my child without really giving me a reason behind it, other than "that's a common and recommended procedure". Now, 6 months after, it seems like my child does not need it. I was also really unhappy after seeing the bill and being charged a lot for maybe 10 min appointment. What's more, office staff billed it to: P....(our last name), Unknown and of course my insurance denied it and I had to spend a long time on the phone (with the office and insurance), making sure they will do it correctly.

Dr Thampy has her a new office at Chestnut& Herndon. She has been kind and everything you expect from a doctor.

You will wait at least an hour to get in and be in the room for 10 minutes if even that, its more of a get in and get you out type deal. I brought my daughter here when she had a allergic rash, the nurses pretty much told me sorry for your luck. The told me to buy some over the counter cream which didnt work. 3 weeks later she still had the rash. Called on site nurse Sat morning and she hung up on me. Had to end up taking my daughter to urgent care and finally seemed to have gotten a medicine that is actually working. Dr. Thampy seen my daughter personally 2 times, other then that she sends in her "nurses" and you will walk past her office and see her sitting there talking on the phone. I dont recomened you bring your child here.

Dr Thampy is wonderful. She is kind and gentle, she is educated and proves it. The only downfall when visiting this office is the less educated support staff (MA's/front desk), but still did not detour me from coming back. The office itself is small, nothing special or exciting. No toys and probably lacking cleanliness, but again, not enough to detour me. Dr. Thampy makes up for any of the office flaws.

Dr Thampy has been my daughters dr for 4 years. I highly recomend her! She is wonderful, very relaxed and calming, very thourough, great dr and friendly staff. I have never had a problem with her or the staff!!
