This Dr recommended surgery then changed his mind and discarded a patient without any explanation.

He diagnosed a patient, recommended surgery then changed his mind and left the patient without any solution or help. He gave no explanation for his decision to refuse to treat the patient. He seems to be unsympathetic and lacking bedside manner.

Outstanding ankle reconstruction experience with Dr. Kadakia. His ENTIRE team took my (very complicated case) seriously, seamlessly coordinated care and coverage!! He is not only knowledgeable but takes time to listen. My outcomes are far better than I could have imagined. Other doctors told me there was nothing they could do; he was realistic about my post-op limitations but ALWAYS kept my needs and dignity at the center of care. This is an outstanding team and I highly recommend Dr. Kadakia for an ankle reconstruction.

I was hit by a car and my foot got shattered. He was able to fix my foot for me. He even mentioned that I was one of the hardest cases he has had. He is not only an amazing surgeon but also an amazing and caring person. When he finally said i was done seeing him I was actually sad. I felt I lost a friend. He helped me when I was at my worst and gave me strength to not give up. I wouldn’t have made it this far without him.

I saw several surgeons prior to choosing Dr. Kadakia. A colleague recommended me to Dr. Kadakia. During my initial consult he was very straight forward regarding surgical options, and always had a back up plan which I found comfort in. He took into consideration my age, active lifestyle and selected the surgical option that was best for me. It's been 3 months since surgery and I now have no toe pain. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Kadakia and and Northwestern Hospital, both are fantastic!

I have had severely flat feet for all my life. As I have gotten older it has gotten progressively worse. I was wearing Arizona boots for several years and it helped for a while. Back in 2016 my right foot was so painful that I could barely stand to walk on it. It felt as if the bone had collapsed down on the inside of my foot and I was walking on the bone. Dr. Kadakia took x-rays and determined that he could put a rod in the back of my ankle with pins and smaller rods in the foot it self. He was even able to give me a bit of an arch to my foot. Something I have never had in my life. There was an eight week recovery from the surgery but almost a year for total recuperation. I can say that I no longer have any pain in the foot. I took a cruise earlier this fall and was able to walk without any pain in the foot. Now I am having the same issue with the left foot and I am about to have the exact same surgery on the left foot. I like Dr. Kadakia because he is very honest on what he… will do and what he expects from the surgery. He is friendly and very personable. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is having foot issues requiring surgery.

We found Dr.Kadakia because of my boyfriend's foot issues he has had since birth, Dr. Kadakia realized how bad the situation was and offered this help to start as soon as possible. His case Dr. Kadakia told us was a very hard case but he was going to do all he possibly can to give him a functioning foot and ankle. He was always just a call away after these complicated surgeries and often called to check on his progress. We can not express the respect and thanks we have for Dr. Kadakia and his staff, 3 surgeries later we are on the road to a better less painful life where we can run and play with our kids, without worry that at any moment the ankle could snap and leave him not being able to walk. Dr. Kadakia has given him his life back and we will be forever grateful to him for that. Dr.Kadakia is the nicest doctor I have met and he shows that he really does care about his patients, but at the same time will be to the point and not leave you in the dark. KIND AND APPROACHABLE.

My ankle was severely dislocated for well over 72 hours. During this time I shattered my lower tibia and fibia. Dr. Kadakia placed me in an exterior fixation device and then schedule the re-building surgery at the same as to remove my X-fix device so I didn't have to go under an additional time. Within less than a year I was cleared to run, play hockey, paddle tennis and really anything else I could do. His confidence created peace of mind, while his bed side manner gave me confidence that I could get through this and would be able to be active for the rest of my life! I would highly, highly, highly recommend him!
