While there are aspects of Dallas Pain Consultants that do not deserve a high star rating at all, I am focusing on the phenomenally positive interactions and help I've experienced with 2 people in particular: Dr. Anish Mirchandani and Patient Care Coordinator Rachael Sheehan. I found Dallas Pain Consultants in 2021 when trying to get chronic pain under control via injections (not medications). Since early 2021, I've spent a copious amount of phone time with Rachael and other staff members discussing insurance coverage, procedure details, etc. I now prefer to talk directly with Rachael (lucky her, haha) as she is unfailingly patient, knowledgeable, and clear in her explanations. She doggedly follows up with my insurance company (specifically having issues with them repeatedly rejecting authorization for a needed/supposedly covered future procedure), and keeps me in the loop anytime progress is made. I remember apologizing to her for bugging her with a new insurance question recently… and she said something like "this is literally what I'm here for, I am glad to help!". She has always been warm, kind, and exceedingly helpful. If I could hire her to field questions for my own business, I would in a heartbeat! Dr. Mirchandani has taken care of me for multiple trigger point injections and 1 neck injection under anesthesia at a McKinney surgery center. Since Dr. Mirchandani floats between DFW locations, I've been to a few different DPC offices to ensure I am able to get in with him. He excels at taking into account your personal medical history when developing the most likely effective treatment plan for managing pain. I don't just feel like a number with him as he seems genuinely invested in helping me have better quality of life/be in less pain. He can be concise or comprehensive in answers to questions, depending on what is needed. He is quick but is also patient, and visits do not feel rushed. At every appointment, Dr. Mirchandani has been calming, grounded, considerate, and professional. I appreciate the high level of care both of them always provide. They are amazing at what they do, and I am grateful to have found them!

Dr. Michandani has had the challenge of stepping in to an established pain clinic, where I’ve been a patient and had lost trust in being able to interact with the office when I needed to. This was in spite of how much I liked my doctor. Dr. Mirchandani has turned around the functioning of this pain clinic. He is a caring, responsive and committed to providing safe, accountable and compassionate treatment to his patients. He has improved patient communication, and therefore trust. He also upholds strict standards for patient safety while always working with me as a true partner in my health.

I’m so lucky to have found someone who genuinely cares about my pain and well being. He’s brought happiness and my quality of life back. 5 stars!

Dr.M. took the time to listen to my concerns when we talked about a plan for my pain control. At the time I first saw Dr.M. I was not sleeping much because the pain was so bad; the neck, back, and head pain was out of control and made me miss work and disrupted my life. I had seen other pain specialists with little lasting success, and a chronic repeated pattern of them wanting to do the same thing over and over. Dr.M. listened to what I knew about my body, what was and was not working, and he was intuitive enough to try other options that had previously been dismissed. We came across a plan that is working for me and has me sleeping again and in control of my pain. I know I will always have pain in my life, but now I know I have hope for control of it.

He wants to help you with your pain, truly. If you have had, or still do, live with chronic pain you know how important that is. Highly recommended!

I’ve had 3 appointments with Dr. Mirchandani in the last couple months: an initial evaluation/consult, spinal steroid injections, and a follow-up. In all of them Dr. Mirchandani was friendly, down to earth, and eased any concerns I had with the procedure or my condition in general. Best of all, my back feels better than it has in years! A doctor that truly wants to see you better. After going to nearly every pain management doctor in the Portland area. I’ve found one that has given me hope. He took the time to actually review my MRI and x-rays. Dr Mirchandani got right to the source of my pain. It’s like every other doctor never took the time to delve into the reason for my pain. So all the countless injections accomplished nothing was they were not at the source of my pain. He is up on all the current forms of treatment for pain. Highly recommend!

After going to nearly every top pain management doctor in the greater Portland area. I’ve finally found a doctor that actually wants to help end my pain. Dr. Mirchandani listened to my concerns and was willing to try new medications as my goal has been to get off opiates. Most doctors are just interested in writing prescriptions and doing countless injections that did nothing for my pain. I finally have hope of getting better. Do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Mirchandani.
