Dr. Anita Chow, MD

I would definitely recommend Dr Chow. I first saw her in 2006 and had biopsy and lumpectomy, then she performed a bilateral mastectomy on me in 2007. She has a calming bedside manner. She explains everything very well. When I was in pre-op, the nurses were very complimentary of Dr Chow, they all love her. She is a very skilled surgeon and I had an excellent outcome. I continued to see her for 6 years after surgery, then she released me from care. I would go back to her if I ever had a problem and would recommend her to anyone. She is very busy and there is a wait time, but she spends the necessary time with each patient.

I haven't had my surgery yet so I can't say about follow up. If the consultation I had is any indication of future experiences, I'm sure it will be wonderful!! The wait time was long , but she is well worth the wait. I never go to ANY doctor appointment expecting them to run on time! There are always those circumstances when a patient might need some extra time with the doctor. I accept that and hope that others would be patient if it were I that needed Dr. Chow's time.

DR CHOW DID MY BREAST SURGERY ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO SHE IS GREAT AND HER STAFF IS GREAT I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT HER OR HER STAFF!!!!!

Dr. Chow is amazing I prayed on my surgery I'm thank full the LORD lead me to DR. CHOW and her skill-full hands to do my double mastectomy she has a quality that thrusts itself into attention she exceeded above my expectations Everyone took excellent care of me from day one, during surgery, and afterwards I highly recommend Dr Chow I thank her for being a perfectionist p.s. the nurse ( Jeanett) is also outstanding

she is not successful with lumpectomy.

Dr. Chow really spent a lot of time going over my pathology and explaining the options, plans and procedures. I felt like I was in the most capable hands. On the day of surgery she was there every step of the way, performed the dye injection herself and generally made me feel well cared for. I highly recommend her!

dr chow is a very good surgeon.i trust her judgement . i had two cancers removed from my breast. she was excllent.icould not have been cared for any better.

I was diagnosed with BRCA1 issues. Dr. Chow was recommended to me and she made the process less stressful. She listened to my concerns and fears. Both her and her staff are wonderful and caring. When issues arose after my surgery, I got an appointment fairly quickly considering her work load. She examined me, gave me her thoughts and had a follow up appointment. Her bedside manner is very calming. If someone has to have a doctor of her speciality, she is the one to use!

Dr. Chow did not listen to me and my concerns regarding my mammogram and my sonogram. She refused to do a biopsy as was indicated by another physician. When I explained to her what one of her staff had said regarding instructions, she actually told me I wasn't telling the truth! Despite the knots in my breasts, she dismissed me and informed me that if I didn't like what she had to say, I could take my films and go! I would NEVER, EVER go to this doctor again and I wouldn't recommend that anyone else do so either.
