Dr. Anita Kundi, DO

Very disappointing experience establishing care with Dr. Kundi. Before I could even schedule an appointment, I was required to physically come into the office just to complete new patient paperwork rather than being allowed to fill it out electronically or ahead of time. Only after coming in person to complete paperwork was I allowed to schedule an appointment weeks later, which already felt unnecessarily inconvenient. At my visit, I was informed that the office charges patients to complete forms, including school and disability paperwork. I came in for required school rotation health clearance forms and TB documentation, and while I understand some offices charge administrative fees, this was surprising given my prior experiences with other physicians and specialists. The larger issue, however, was the overall interaction and communication style. During intake, I discussed multiple concerns with the medical student, including an ongoing cough, medication refills for acne medication,… and concerns my family had raised about my memory. When Dr. Kundi finally entered the room over 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, none of those concerns were addressed unless I personally brought them up again. When I requested refills formy acne medication, I was repeatedly told these were “cosmetic” and that I have Medi-Cal. I explained that prescription tretinoin is not equivalent to over-the-counter products and that I was willing to pay out of pocket if insurance would not cover it. Despite this, she refused to prescribe it or provide a dermatology referral, stating that insurance prefers to save money for “serious medical conditions.” The entire interaction felt dismissive and condescending. There was also confusion from staff regarding which vaccines I still needed versus which I had already completed, and when I tried clarifying this, the interaction felt rude rather than helpful. I was additionally informed that the office does not administer vaccines on site. Overall, I left feeling unheard, judged because of my insurance, and uncomfortable with the level of professionalism and patient care provided. I ultimately requested cancellation of the labs ordered during the visit and decided to transfer my care elsewhere.

DO NOT COME TO THIS DOCTOR!!! Dr. Anita Kundi is extremely callous, cruel, uncaring, rude, and doesn't give a f about her patients concerns. She will ignore you, your injuries, and your health concerns. She will refuse to write up the testing and imaging that you need/request, and if you end up crying because you aren't being listened to, she will roll her eyes and tell you to get out! LITERALLY, I was crying, asking her to please listen, and when I asked why she was being so cruel, she sighed in an annoyed fashion and told me to leave. She literally REFUSED to write up the imaging I needed and told me, "Well, you did it to yourself so there's nothing I can do" WHAT??! Yeah, I injured myself and it's her job as a DOCTOR to help! She doesn't give a flying f about her patients, save yourself and do not ever come here! She is the most EVIL doctor I have ever met and I hate her SO much.

This Doctor has absolutely no follow through. She does not respond to specialists attempting to communicate regarding a shared patient. It is impossible to communicate with her without an appointment (which takes 3 months to get). Incompetent diagnosis and treatment.

I tried to make an appointment for one of my staff members. They were booked 6 weeks out. She had severe abdominal pain. They told me to have her go to the ER. She went to the ER who suggested they see her Primary Care Physician...well still could not get an appointment. Terrible service..don't sign up for this doctor.

very bad experience with this doctor. wait period of two to three months to make appointments. staff and doctor seems to be in a hurry all the time, and try to rush you. doctor doesnt address your concerns well.

WORSE DOCTOR EVER!

This doctor has a TERRIBLE bedside manner. After waiting a month for my appointment, 1 hour 15 minutes in the waiting room and 35 min in the office room, I was seen. She rushed in and wanted to get the procedure done as quickly as possible. I had questions and concerns she refused to address. She told me she was already behind for the day and "people like me" put her behind because we ask too many questions. She was cold as ice and after waiting almost 2 hours I was furious. She told me to schedule an appointment with her for my "questions". In response to my fertility questions and frustrations she told me to "drink wine". This doctor is clearly in it for the money. She didn't hold up her oath as a medical doctor to care for the patient. Luckily for me I found a really caring doctor and ditched this lady. I should also mention her staff is rude.

she seems to act as if when they reach a certain age, that certain symtoms are normally and that thats what you get. the office takes forever to return phone calls. very poor!!! won't recomend this office
