Dr. Anita Misra, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Misra for about 8 years now. She has always provided quality health care. She and staff are friendly and professional. She listens to concerns.

I went in thinking i had pneumonia and Dr Misra saw some abnormalities with that and made me get some tests done. turns out my lungs were fine but i had advanced stage cancer. We got treatments started and it looks like i will be around a lot longer.

The front office staff are friendly always greet you with a smile Her nursing staff are kind and compassionate. Dr Misra is everything you hope a Doctor would be - kind, caring, compassionate, willing to listen, thorough, able with experience to diagnose and treat the issue. She is all of that and more she’s amazing! The best Dr I’ve ever had. I would recommend her to anyone.

I went to her with a kidney infection and all she could do is badger me over my weight! This was the first time I had ever met her so she didn't know me from Adam. Granted I was over weight but I had nothing to do with the kidney infection. At the time I had a garden and was canning everything. Eating very healthy. She literally told me to stop stealy my kids oreos and eat vegetables! I left the office sobbing and needless to say never went back. She was recommended to me by my sister who is slimmer than me but has a much more unhealthy diet than me. The next doctor I went to found out my thyroid wasn't working correctly. Maybe if she had done some blood work before assume I just sat arohnd eating my kids Oreo's she would still have me as a patient. I honestly wouldn't take my dog to her.

She is a wonderful doctor who cares for her patients. I would recommend her to everyone.

The wait time is at least an hour. She does not remember Anything about your health. I understand busy but read the cliff notes! Her PA is fantastic if that's all you need. If you have serious health issues and need a physician who's up to speed go somewhere else! Save yourself the agony. I've had too many physicians in my life die to severse health issues. I'd Never recommend this Dr to anyone. The positive reviews on here are astonding. Wish I'd received that level of care and concern. Good luck if you makeep this choice!

Dr. Misra has been my doctor for over 10yrs and I absolutely love her!! She is a part of my family and I trust her with my entire family!! I love her so much she is my husband and grown son's primary doctor as well. As soon as my son's were old enough to attend her practice I put them in. She is very thorough and takes the time to answer all of my questions. I appreciate her greatly and am so happy I was able to find her. We are a team in me and my family's health.

Average wait time for five appointments was 2 hours, including 8am appointments. She changed all my mail-order prescriptions from my old MD's name to hers, and after I quit seeing her she cancelled all prescription refills (including from previous MD).
