The staff here is fantastic and try to squeeze me in when the need arises. Dr. Dhar is great and takes the time to listen. She tries hard to find the problem and treat it properly.

Judgmental and limited medical care

This office is ridiculous. I've been a patient for years but I'm finding a new Dr. You can't reach them by phone, I've left several messages this past month alone to try to fix the insurance information and PAY them but they won't return my calls. They try to force you to do everything through their web portal. Then I scheduled an appointment for 2:45 but apparently the nurse put it on their schedule as 2:15 .. I show p at 2:30 and they won't see me and the waiting room was EMPTY! then they wanted to schedule for 4 more days out?? What? The Dr. is nice but the staff is not terribly friendly and the way they run their office are sub par. Moving on, tired of this place.

I looked up Dr. Dhar on my insurance plan to find a local primary care doctor. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly with the nurse practitioner. The first nurse who came in to run some of the first tests was very friendly. The nurse practitioner came in and was very short, never asked me questions about my past, just ran a few tests and then left. After she left, the lab corps staff came in and explained that I could have a charge for the blood work. I inquired if all the tests were necessary because I was here for my physical exam and wanted the worked covered for the annual physical. The lab corps staff said they weren't part of Dr. Dhar's services and just said again that the charges may happen but people rarely get charged. Since this was my first visit for the annual physical in years I decided to trust the staff who was telling me what work needed to be completed. I had got a call about my blood work and I attempted to call back right after the missed call. I left a… message and the machine says they will call back within 24 hours and I received a call back 72 hours later. A month later I have received bills from the doctor and the lab corps staff. I called my insurance provided and they informed me that the staff did tests that were not preventative and not part of the annual physical. I have reached out to the doctor's billing office and am awaiting a call back. I am disappointed that I was not informed correctly on all the tests, especially when I inquired, and now I have to pay medical bills for what should have been covered under my annual physical. As a patient I asked if what was being done was covered by my annual physical and was informed what was being done would be covered. If the staff were uncertain they should not have said it was covered. Also, it is sad that the doctor is able to respond to negative Google reviews but is unable to call patients in the time frame the voice messages say. The issue isn't insurance, the issue is a doctor's office not taking responsibility for their wrong doings. The insurance company informed me one of the tests run was only applicable for 24 month olds to 21 year olds and then again for 40-70 year olds. I am in neither of those age ranges. You also ran a pregnancy test which I have to pay for. If staff would have asked if that test was necessary then I would have said no. Also, I did call your office and left a message days ago and am still awaiting someone to call me back. As for me going to social media, this is the purpose of reviews to rate a company for their service.

The staff is wonderful. Lab work was drawn there. Dr. Dhar is very easy to talk to. She will discuss everything with you. Very informative, very helpful, very helpful and respectful.

Dr. Dhar has treated me for the past 6 years and I find her and her entire staff to be caring and compassionate. She always takes time to ask questions concerning my health needs and encourages me to eat a proper diet and exercise. When my labs come back favorable she gives me compliments but when I slip she is there to encourage me to get back on track. She is knowledgeable and I am proud to say she is the primary care doctor for most of my family and many of my friends.

Doctor Dhar does not need to be practicing medicine. She ordered an O and P to diagnose Pin worms. The pin worm in not included in an O and P. The test for pin worm is different. When the O and P came back negative she refused to treat my son for the worms even after she was told we could plainly see the worms. I had to take my son to another doctor to get him treated for pin worms. She also told me I could only talk to her about one thing at a time. She refused to listen to all of my symptoms at once. She told me I had fibromyalgia when I had two ruptured discs in my neck. She told me I had IBS and refused to find out why. She gave me unnessisary medication and I ended up sicker than I was when I first came to her.

Dr dhar will leave you suffer for weeks before she decide to write you a prescription, she think you are laying until you get really sick

I was mis diagnosied for almost 2 years! I would go in on several visits and she was not willing to look at all the symptoms as a whole. She said I could only talk about 2 issues on that visit and I would have to make another appointment. I actually had worms and intestional parasites for over 2 years! VERY SICK. She said i had fibromyalgia!!!

Dr. Dhar is one of the most caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough Dr's I've been to. She is an excellent Dr and I would recommend her to everyone!! Pros: Easy to get an appointment, you dont have to wait long once you arrive, the office staff and nurses are very nice, Dr. Dhar is patient and gives you the time you deserve at your appointment.Cons: Havent found any yet and I've been going to her for 4 yrs.
