Dr. Anjubal Riar, MD

After a change in insurance we were forced to find a new pediatrician after having the same one for nearly 11 years. We were heartbroken. Meeting Dr. Riar and having her treat and care for our boys has exceeded our expectations. We feel so fortunate to have her as our boys' doctor. She is patient, to the point and truly listens to our concerns and ideas.

I love her! My 3 children have seen her since birth.She is an awesome and caring doctor.

I am a busy mom with 3 boys, although older now they still need to see their regular pediatrician who is familiar with their helth history.She is a fantatic Dr. that also takes time out of her busy schedule to teach at UNR. Her staff is fantastic too. They never rush you, always take the extra time to answer all questions and return your calls in a timely manner. In fact my oldest son just turned 18, he hadn't needed to see her in the last year until recently. We were told by our insurance that he could no longer see her. I called and was informed otherwise. They even accomodated his schedule and got him in that day! If we had a complaint it would be her waiting room. Saint Mary's needs to update her front office to make it more kid friendly.

My child is 5 years old for 5 years we had had a different pediatrician . My child has always had horriable what the dr. had always told us night terrors there were weeks where there would be 6 a night . When I started seeing Dr. Riar she said this was not right and could be seizures and sent us to a specialist and sure enough he had been having seizures for years and we didnt even know it. Thanks to Dr. Riar my son is on medication for Seizures before something seriouse happened.

Dr. Riar is an exceptional physician. She has been extremely helpful, accurate and efficient in both of our children's pediatric medical needs (boy and girl). Her bedside manner is probably among the very best for a doctor I've seen and perfect for kids. The only criticism is that office wait times can be longer than expected for appointments. Though this is understandable in a pediatric office where many patients are seen at the last minute - kids can sometimes not be very predictable in their needs, what can we say! In this light, I can excuse the inconvenience as just that, because everything else we have experienced with Dr. Riar has been fantastic.

She is an outstanding doctor.
