Dr. Patel was great. He actually listened to my issues and did not rush me at all through my appointment. I would highly recommend him and his staff.

I was taken aback initially when I was told I had to wait 4 to 6 for the next new patient appointment and I was going to make an appointment with another doctor. However, a friend of mine who is also a patient of Dr. Patel's, convinced me to make the appointment and wait. Boy, was he worth the wait! I was so impressed by the entire experience. The front staff was very pleasant and only had to wait 5 minutes to get to the back to see Dr. Patel. He didn't make me wait in the back room for a long period of time and it is clear that he values your time. He was very kind and asked me a lot of questions. I did not feel rushed at all. He did a very thorough examination and he talked to me in detail about what was going on and he outlined the steps we needed to do going forward. He asked for my input and actually listened to my concerns and we made a plan together. I had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and I never felt rushed the whole time. He was very knowledgeable and I… fully trust in his recommendations. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Patel and waiting 4 to 6 weeks if you are able to! Good doctors are going to be very busy and are WORTH THE WAIT!

I have been a patient of Dr. Patel for a while now and he is truly a great doctor. He takes time to listen to my issues and truly cares. I would highly recommend him and his office.

I have been seeing Dr. Patel for about 3 years. Dr Patel gives me all the time and does not put any pressure on me when I take long. Which I do as my issues are many. He has been great in guiding me to recovery. Unfortunately I have learned that their staff is only helpful when you have an appointment. Trying to get them on the phone is impossible. Their recording promises to call back but they never do. If I need to call their office, I now drive to their office instead of trying to use the phone (horrible). So basically I rate Dr Patel 5 Starts and his staff 1 Star.

I am a current Patiant of Dr Akit Patel and this is what I have experience. Dr. Patel is very professional and is one of the few Doctors that takes their time listening to his patients. I been going to his office because I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and I been with strong chemotherapy that has caused neurological problems and sever pain. Although my experience with Dr Patel is excellent however his office administration is TERRIBLE!!! Very unorganized and NEVER EVER answers the phone nor calls back when you leave a message. Is an act of congress to make an appointment is very frustrating. When I was at my appointment Dr Patel referred me to a pain specialist but I wasn't sure what pain specialist was in my insurance network Dr Patel very kindly told me to see who was in my network and then call his office so he can immediately send the referral it took me almost a week for someone to call me back. In the mean time my pain was so excruciating is not until I left a nasty… message saying "if somebody doesn't call me back I will go to the office in person to cuz someday out!" And fifteen minutes later they called. Is a shame and very sad because this Doctor deserves more than five stars for is excellent work but again his office administration is terrible. Whoever is the manager of that office is doing a horrible job in managing that office. Is a bad reflection to the doctor. I am not the only one who is having this trouble both my parents and my sister are having the similar problem with Doctor Diaz which is his associate and I am certain that other patients are having the same issue. I don't want to switch doctors because I know a good doctor when I see one however I am keeping in mind to switch doctor if the terrible office staff service continues. As a manager of an office I KNOW that as an office administrator is face of the business and good customer service and professionalism goes a long way. I would NEVER allowed my staff to treat a customer like that or not answer the phone nor call back.
