Dr. Ankur Arvind Doshi, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Doshi for many years. He is always willing to give me time when I have any health issues. His staff is very professional. I would strongly recommend him and his practice.

This place is rude, mean with bad communication, they are not able to provide generic information on simple annual physical ,...she is knowledgeable in booking appointments only and nothing else...total garbage/Low profile staff....I must advice to them, take your business to somewhere where they respect you /your questions/your requirements..Will Never recommend this low profile Dr Ankur A Doshi/his place to anyone..

I use Dr. Doshi as my primary. Great Dr., spends time with you and does what is necessary to resolve your problem, respectful and kind staff, only negative is getting through on the phone or call backs.

He is very patient and kind. He will not judge you for your weaknesses. He will only try to find a cure what ails you.

As a new patient I expect professionalism and empathy. My husband is been patient of Dr. Doshi for ten years, so I needed to go to an internist urgently, so I made my appointment and the secretary gave me the address and I repeat the directions (to make sure I understand fine) the day of my appointment a guy called me to get the medical insurance information and I asked AGAIN the directions (I am not sure if is a cultural thing, but both of them were Hindu and they just say â??sureâ?? to everything I said). I ask permission at work to use my lunch time to go to my appointment (took me about 40 minutes to get there) When I was driving I called to tell them that I was on my way, no one answered (I called for 30 minutes!) Finally they pick up the phone when I was in the building (5 minutes before my appointment) and the secretary told me that I was in the wrong building! Took me 25 minutes to get to the correct one. The secretary told me that I was 30 minutes late, and I explained to… her that they gave me the wrong address and I was trying to call them for 30 minutes. Well, she asked the doctor and told me that I need to wait a lot if I want to see the doctor (there was 2 more patients, and they are 3 doctors)â?¦. I leave so mad and frustrated: more than 2 hours lostâ?¦ unprofessional, unknowable and cheapâ?¦BUT they DID took my insurance informationâ?¦ now keeping an eye on my insurance company to make sure they donâ??t bill me (I called already to my insurance).

Dr. Doshi is a caring, listening doctor. He spends plenty of time with you, sits down, listens to you and then discusses the options with your care. When he makes a decision, he explains it fully.

I came to Dr. Doshi in a great deal of pain. I gave him all of my tests - MRI, ultrasound, CT Scan, Xrays. He mis-diagnosed a gallbladder problem which after removing my gallballder relieve the pain nor determine the source of my pain. After returning to him, he didn't perform any basic tests, blood work etc., but continue to prescribe pain killers. After months of no diagnosis, his nurse informed me I could no longer receive the pain killers which left me with no solution, no direction or recommendations and no pain relief. He referred me to two doctors who refused to see me (GI doctor and pain management) and his only diagnosis was my pain was due to a "bruise" even though I had been in pain for 9 months. So, even though his bed side manner is pleasent, his ability to diagnose and heal a patient is very poor. After 10 months into my pain, I found a doctor who surgerically removed a 4" fibriod curing my pain for good. One thing I should think a patient should expect from an… internist is a referral they can count on which means the internist should be willing to make the call for the patient.

Doctor Doshi has been our doctor for almost 12 years. We trust his decisions and knowledge completely. I could say many good things but the main thing is he is our doctor of choice and we have no desire to change.
