I am so thankful that she agreed to allow me to stop taking mood stabilizets. She is a great listener and believed me when I told her I thought I'd been misdiagnosed with Bipolar disorder several years ago when I was a teen. All the mood stabilizers I was taking had me feeling suicidal and even hallucinating. I was a wreck, she weaned me off the med I was taking and switched me over to an anti-depressant. Since then all my suicidal thoughts arw gone, I finally married my fiance of 10 years and we just jad our first child a happy healthy baby boy. This has been the happiest 2 years of my entire life and I have Dr. Branchaud to thank for helping me get my depression under control!

Dr. Branchaud has totally misdiagnosed me as having a rare psychiatric disease & put me on antipsychotic meds. I had to do my own research to find the correct diagnosis. Her treatment may have left me too "drugged" to help myself, since she was of no help. She is a nice person & maybe if you already have a psychiatric diagnosis, she would be someone who could manage your meds, but keep in mind that she seems to want to give Rx's readily & you should make sure you know what medicine you are taking, why, & what the side effects are. Don't just rely on any one Dr.'s explanation of the medicine, always talk to the pharmacist & READ the package insert w/your Rx, @ the very least.

Dr. Branchaud is the most personable and caring psychaiatrist I have ever had experience with. I always feel very confident that she is knowledgeable and experienced in my diagnoses and treatment.I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Branchaud to anyone looking for a psychiatrist.
