Dr. Ann R K Kershnar, MD

I went to this doctor as a young person and found that she was very harsh in her judgments. She was a little too brutal in her comments about weight and on a few visits I broke down in tears afterwards. Plus, she wasn't aware of common side effects of the medication she prescribed, so I thought the effects were my fault. After waiting forever in the exam room, she would come in and be dismissive of my concerns and opinions about my health. Basically, she was a competent doctor but probably not the best choice for a kid who is already sensitive and confused about their endocrine problems.

Dr. Kershnar always has a very long wait once you enter your room. We have averaged at least an hour for her each visit. Dr. Kershnar is a good doctor. She seems to ask for other doctor's advice whenever she has doubts about things. So far, we like her. Yes she is a little straight forward when it comes to getting you to lose weight and follow her advice, but it's for your own well being.
