I needed to see a doctor after finding out I am pregnant - but was turned away because I am moving in a month and won't be able to see the same doctor throughout the pregnancy. I think this is deplorable. Just DEPLORABLE.

I had my son under her care , the experiance was very good for me.Since i am from asian background she recommeneded the additional supplements what were missing in my diet by through study of our lifestyle, she know a lot and your in right hands if you opt for her.GOD bless her and her daughter.

Dr. Kolwitz urges one to be proactive and involved in one's own care. I gave the meds I was taking and she insisted I have exact dosage. Good Idea! After discussion about calcium medication she asked me to do some research{come by with no app. needed] and we would make a decision together. I am amazed at her effort to involve me in my health...that is not a policy I have seen often.

Dr Kolwitz delivered all 3 of my kids ...she is the best!!I had extreme morning sickness and was in the hospital and on IV's at home...she was the best! My kids are now 21,19, and 14...still love my experience with her!

Dr.Kolwitz has done a great job for us. She delivered our two kids and both involved surgeries but we know why we had to do that and we are very happy we chose her.

Dr. Kolwitz originally saw me when we were having fertility problems. At that time, I was put off a bit by her abrupt manner and seemingly lack of warmth. However, she knows her stuff more than anyone else around and helped us finally get pregnant, and sustain a high risk pregnancy with numerous problems. I decided not to switch doctors because of her knowledge and I am so happy I had her deliver our daughter. She cares more for her patients than most doctors ever do- she just doesn't express it in the warm fuzzy way most people expect. She literally delivers like 90% of her own patients babies (unheard of in OB practice)- and she does it because she cares and wants to be there for the delivery. She personally checked on me in the hospital very often and lobbied for me to receive better care when she was concerned. At a one year check up instead of congratulating me on weight loss, she asked for a thyroid test to be sure nothing was wrong and ended up helping diagnose a problem… I needed treatment for. She hugs me at appointments, remembers me all these years, and seriously means so much to our family for all she has done for us.So- before you write her off because of her "bedside manner," realize that underneath her "all business" personality, she is a doctor that truly cares.
