Maybe she's good for those who are into stronger personalities. She was not a good fit for me as a woman with special needs. She dismissed my concerns, mocked my disability, and told me to stop using my diagnosed Autism as an 'excuse.' She suggested that psychotherapy and CBT, as well as posting affirmations on the wall would 'cure' my 'wrong thinking' about eating and needles - two things I really struggle with. I told her that the nutritionists were pushing vegetarianism on me with no alternative, and she rudely said they were 'strong women' . I came with a list of medications that I had researched to help with my condition and she refused to consider them and said I was going to get what she wanted to give me, which were meds my late husband used that were ineffective and had side effects. In fact, when I put in my prescription, the pharmacy said one of her prescribed meds was incompatible with another I'm taking. I told her that the GI doctor she referred me to was unreachable and… she said it's not her problem and got an attitude as if I was blaming her. I was politely trying to advocate for myself and thanking her, but she was losing her patience with me and it made me very uncomfortable.
