Very likable, and understanding. She listens to all my complaints about my pains and discomforts with RA. She has worked with me in finding what combination of medication worked best for me. Dr. Macasa , is easy to talk to she gets back to me quick when I have flare ups. I have seen many doctors, Dr Macasa is one of the best in my opinion.

I have rather mixed feelings. She changed my meds from my previous rheumatologist and I'm feeling much better and in less pain, but I don't feel she listens to me or considers other conditions I have. The exam rooms have thin walls and every time I've been there I can hear her reprimanding her staff. The office is very perfumey, which gives me asthma attacks (which I've mentioned and they don't seem to care.) So I'm looking for another provider. I don't feel comfortable when I'm there.

She is friendly but is a fast talker and never goes over test results. But she is very willing to order test to find dx. Office staff is friendly and return all calls promptly. Overall I would recommend her for our area.
