Dr. Ann Louise Hughes Nolen, DO

The staff are rude and caustic in my opinion. They are not helpful at all.

The worst. Warmth of a reptile. Super easy to get an appointment because, guess what? People don't like to be insulted/talked down to/judged on a simple first time office visit.

Long wait times in the exam room while doctor gossips with nurses. She once answered a personal, non-urgent call while she was examining me. I have NEVER received a call or any sort of notification after having tests. She seems to have a focus on skin care/weight loss. I did not know this because the practice is listed as 'family practice' on my insurer's website....I definitely would not recommend her for anything other than her chosen foci because she has absolutely no interest in you as a patient if you have an actual medical condition.

In my case Dr. Nolen did not maintain accurate records of the medications that she prescribed for me. During my most recent visit, when I showed her my various medicine bottles, she asked me who had prescribed these - it had been her. When she looked through my medical record, there were no notes of these prescription. Hmmm. Disturbing.

I would not recommend, unless you want to waste a copay complete misdiagonosis.

Dr. Nolen is a D.O. and really cares about the patient. She is great at helping her patients understand their disease state and what is going on. This I find is something that is lacking in healthcare providers as of late.
