Summary
Dr. Oland was born and raised outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor where she earned her bachelor’s degree in 1994. She then spent a year doing research at The Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania working with extremely premature infants. This experience convinced her to pursue her dream of becoming a pediatrician. She then completed post-graduate pre-medical studies at The Pennsylvania State University and New York Medical College. She completed her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in 2001. She then completed an internship and residency in Pediatrics at New York Methodist Hospital. After completing her residency training, she and her family moved to Arizona to join Desert Valley Pediatrics. Dr. Ann Oland enjoys the relationships she establishes with her patients and their parents. She is particularly interested in newborn development and infant/childhood nutrition.
