I can't begin to mention how inept and inefficient she is. She is a Terrible psychiatrist and I hope and pray that some governing body strips her of her license or forces her into retirement.

Why would a medical doctor (in this case a psychiatrist) continue to prescribe benzos (2 of them at once) even though they were doing no good. When Dr Steele decided they were not working she told him the doses he was taking were too high and he would have to go in-patient to get off them. She knew of no place to refer him. Very few places want to taper Benzos.. He ended up at Mirmont in Delaware County and they took him of the Benzos cold turkey. He almost died! Three years later he is almost off the Benzos as well as the other meds he was on to handle the withdrawal from Benzos. What gives with this MD!! She should NEVER be permitted to prescribe meds to patients. This has been a nightmare!

She is never even in the office when my appt is. Always waiting. Then she doesn’t even take the time to look at you and judge your demeanor.

Dr. Steel takes the time to listen to your questions and concerns about your treatment. She respects your opinion if you object to certain medications and is willing to adjust the treatment plan to best meet the patient's needs.
