Dr. Ann Elizabeth Tilley, MD

In the midst of working in a packed Lenox Hill ER, Dr. Tilley took the time to return my call last month regarding COVID19....her concern for me was obvious and I felt much better after we spoke....I feel fortunate to be under her care, she is a wonderful Doctor and a caring professional as well....

Had my first visit yesterday. she fitted me in as an emergency and could not have been more helpful. I like the way she includes the negative reports as well as good ones. I could not disagree with them more. Davina Belling 1.23.19 And the staff were helpful on the telephone.

Dr. Tilley has been my doctor for years. I came to her as a smoker with out of control asthma and am now a non-smoker who rarely has an attack. She’s just one of those on top of it doctors who really cares (what other doctor comes in early just to see you?). Need meds- she’s on top of it! She’s even given me a chest X-ray herself! She’s that efficient & competent and easy to talk to.

I could not ask more from a professional.

I have never in my life met a more rude and ignorant doctor and staff in all my life...I called at 3:30 in the afternoon and was greeted with a good morning. I was transferred to a phone number that never heard of Dr. Tilley and yet that is where they said I needed to make arrangements for a sleep study. I called back and was hung up on not once, not twice but three times...This office is full of very ignorant and rude people who do not know what the word professionalism means....If you find another doctor in your network for pulmonology services go elsewhere....Save yourself the headache of having to deal with these incompetents.

Dr. Tilley is one of the best doctors I have ever been to see. I have asthma and she has been my pulmonologist for years. Every single time I've seen her she's been engaged, attentive, professional, warm, thorough and is clearly a treasure to those she treats. She is/has NEVER been anything but a wonderful doctor in whose care I feel truly safe: I trust her more than any pulmonologist I have been to and overall she is one of the top 5 doctors in my life for whom I have this high a regard. She's simply one of NYC's best.

I really enjoy my appointments with Dr. Tilley. I was shocked to read the other very bad review as my experience with Dr. Tilley could not have been more different. Dr. Tilley has always spent time with me and made sure all my questions were answered. When I get scans of my lungs she turns her computer around so we can look at it together as she explains the results. She isn't naturally warm person right away - but over time she has shown herself to be the most competent, compassionate and dedicated doctor. I adore her!

She is curt, unfriendly and shows annoyance with her patient. She does not like questions, gives a cursory examination, and treats a patient in the most demeaning manner. I am struggling to still get a complete medical report of a test I took - something that a patient is entitled to. More than anything, she is not as sweet and friendly as her picture seems. I made an appointment with another pulmonologist at another facility. I will not repeat the same mistake.
