Dr. Anna Byrd Filip, MD

Multiple of my appointments have been cancelled over a 6 months span. I have been a patient for 4 years, and even after multiple cancellations in 6 months, I *still* can't get in to see her. My most recent appointment was cancelled without telling me (I drove in from out of state because I was never notified). They called me back three days later and said it was impossible to get in to see her, and that I could make an appointment with her partner in a month and a half. I have issues with my meds that have been unaddressed for months because she is impossible to reach. I checked her website and it says she's accepting new clients. If after 4 years, I can't get a simple check-in so I can address issues with my meds, you shouldn't be accepting new patients. Clearly she doesn't have time for the patients she already has. Absolute unbelievable. She's fine as a doctor, but absolutely not worth the headache. The worst scheduling and communication I've ever seen in my life. What's the point… of having a doctor if you can't get a 20 minute appointment to figure out a major issue with your meds?

I and my kids were paitents of Dr.Filip's. She just left Jefferson on the 30th and I'm so sad, I'm going to miss her. She was THEE best doctor I've ever had or spoken with. The best the best the best I can't say it enough. And if it weren't for her, my son Elijah wouldn't be here.
