Don't waste your time with this one!

Our experience was so bad at the women's center at Mission Bernal St Lukes Hospital that we were forced to make an official complaint to the California Medical Board. This hospital is an absolute shame to our medical system. Numerous staff and so-called managers are incompetent at performing their jobs. Dr Anna Kogan should be ashamed of herself for being the cynical, sarcastic, heartless person that she is. She would probably harm less people and benefit more people if she worked in a morgue and It's too bad people like her exist. Clearly she is more concerned about being accused of fraud than she is interested in providing ethical, compassionate care to her patients. Thanks to her negligence and not making proper notations in my wife’s medical records, my wife has now lost her job, lost her insurance, and she can’t be seen by the specialist we were referred to until we get a new insurance plan. Additionally, we now have over $20,000 in medical bills that her insurance… would have covered had the plan not been cancelled due to her negligence. What a nightmare this wretch of a doctor has caused us!!! To make things worse, no one in any position of authority offered us any solution to rectify the situation. We were so shocked by the unprofessional way that numerous staff members at this hospital responded that we first attempted to make an official complaint to CPMC. However, no effort was made by ANYONE to resolve the situation or make it any better any way whatsoever. Bonnie Tessler, Tara Rae and Gladys should all be fired. They are not even competent to return phone calls and they should not be in administrative positions at a hospital. In the Principles of Medical Ethics on the Amercian Medical Association website it says: I. A physician shall be dedicated to providing competent medical care, with compassion and respect for human dignity and rights. VIII. A physician shall, while caring for a patient, regard responsibility to the patient as paramount. IX. A physician shall support access to medical care for all people. Dr. Kogan and the staff at this clinic certainly did not practice these principles with us. Hopefully the Medical Board shuts this entire hospital down. It's truly a shame that San Francisco allowed Sutter Health to spend over $100 million dollars building new hospitals in San Francisco, yet they hired the most incompetent people to work in the new facilities.

Dr Anna Kogan is a sarcastic, cynical, mean person. She would probably harm less people and benefit more people if she worked in a morgue. It's a shame doctors like Anna Kogan exist in this world.
