Terrible doctor

I have been very pleased with her care.

When I had my initial appt with Dr. Manatis, I immediately found her warm and interested in hearing what I had to say about my symptoms.I think she is a great doctor and very easy to talk to.

An excellent Primary Care Physician.

both myself and my spouse were patients, and now are fed up with the lack of professionalism of this practice. First, if you have an appointment, you wait on average one full hour in the waiting room, sometimes much longer. This is every time-both of us have had to go several times in the past few years and we have never, ever not been there for several hours-whether for a simple skin condition or something more serious. Once you have waited in the waiting room for at least an hour, you then have to sit in the examining room for at least another half hour. Meanwhile, you hear the doctor in the adjoining room shooting the breeze with staff and other patients. Mind you, it may be nice to have a doctor who wants to know about how your life is personally, this one seems to think nothing of rambling on and on about non health issues while people with other things to do sit and wait, loosing patience by the minute. By the time that you finally see the doctor, you are so put off that all… you want to do is get out because you have already been there too long. Many times, neigher of us have sought medical help for things we should have because we dread being put through this each time. If you need a prescription refil, the staff doesnt call back for days. There is no excuse for how poorly this practice is run. Many of the other patients stuck waiting with me on visits commented that they only put up with this because they felt there were no other options due to the doctor shortage in our area.
