She is not even worth one star. She was horrible!! I was talked down to and made to feel stupid. She misdiagnosed my problem and said there was nothing wrong with me. What a waste of time!! I would never recommend her to anyone!!

Up until now I've been very disappointed in the doctors I ended up with because they'd either laugh at my "complaints" or brush it off as unimportant and tried to kick me out the door within 5-10mins, to the point I felt more comfortable going to my school doc instead. With Anna it was a pleasant surprise, while I had to wait a little bit but she was super nice, we talked through multiple of my problems/concerns without feeling rushed and got set up for further tests/followups right away. I've only been here once but already feel much better about the environment, and never heard a complaint from my husband or his mother about her either.

Dr. Anna Mikhailovsky is my primary care physician in the Ventura County ACE program. She has ably coordinated my care through a complicated medical history, scheduling visits with specialists and a variety of tests for me. In this her office has done well. However, this doctor is a GP in a family practice. She is caring, and the clinic's staff is courteous, but difficult to reach on the phone (I get better results by going to the office in person) . I have to remember to ask for test results, or I won't get them. I often have to wait in this office, only to wait 20-40 minutes more in the examining room, as the doctor often seems overbooked. There was one time when I had blood tests and was diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia - hemoglobin level of 9 - the staff did not tell me that, but left a generic "call the office" voicemail (when I was sick as a dog and could not reach the phone easily). When I returned the call I was not told anything about this but given another… appointment. Because my anemia went untreated, I wearily dragged myself to the clinic the next week, only to be told by the doctor "to take iron supplements" without prescription or dosage info. I struggled through one type of iron tablets that gave me severe constipation before switching to an iron/Vitamin C combo that agreed with me better. When I complained on my next visit about the continuing constipation I was told to take stool softeners. I took the stool softeners, only to be berated on my next visit for taking too many, "they are damaging your liver". Finally I was told to take fiber supplements, and that worked. But I could have done without this kind of drawn-out miscommunication...
