Dr. Anna Neystat, MD

This physician went out of her way to make my life an absolutely living hell when I was a new medical student. I cannot speak to her professionalism or ability to care for patients but I can attest to her lack of compassion and self-confidence.

Dr. Anna Neystat has poor interpersonal skills with health care professionals ( nurses) that care for her patients. I believe she could benefit from sensitivity training .

I found Dr. Anna Neystat to have poor interpersonal communication skills with the Registered Professional nurses at Maimonides Medical Center . Dr. Neystat isn’t receptive to input by the nurses regarding her patients . Her demeanor strongly suggests that she could use sensitivity training.

I have absolutely no words to describe how rude, and judgemental Dr. Anna is. She was present during my sister's delivery at Maimonides hospital along with two other ob-gyn doctors. It was a very difficult delivery for my sister but from the very first moment, Dr. Anna had an irritated and sarcastic attitude. She kept saying rude words to my sister. Whenever she would leave the room and walk back she would leave the curtain wide open for the rest of the hospital unit to see my half-naked sister in her vulnerable state. No matter how many times we told her we need privacy and every time one of the nurses would have to go to close the curtain. I don't believe anyone would want such an unsupportive ob-gyn doctor dring one of the most important days of their life. You can be assured that half of the excellent reviews are fake and she made someone write them for her.

I had the pleasure of receiving care from Dr. Anna Neystat at NYU Cityscape. She is knowledgeable, professional, and non-judgmental. I was in a difficult situation and she really came through for me by giving me good advice. I feel cared for when I speak to her.

I felt very comfortable with Dr Neystat both from a medical and personal point of view. She was very thorough, explained all options clearly, listened to my personal feelings about approach to medicine (more naturopathic though tolerant of allopathic), and encouraged discussion.

I went to see Dr. Neystat a few months after getting married due to having history of irregular periods & ovarian cysts and I wanted to know how it would effect me when I want to conceive. Without doing any tests or blood work on me she concluded that I was fine & it's too early for me to think about conceiving because I haven't been married for too long & I was still young & asked if it was a "cultural thing" for me to want to get pregnant. So apparently now a days it has to be cultural or forced upon if a female actually loves kids and wants to become a mother. I left feeling horrible!

The doctor was really sweet. She listened to my concerns and made decisions with my input in mind.

I called Dr. Alvin Weiner's number and this women's care answered the phone. I went to see her and without knowing anything about me, she said that I have cancer and that all sorts of tests need to be done. I went home and checked her out, and according to the vitals website, she is NOT a doctor but a student. She was going to use me as some guinea pig to study on. She needs to be stopped!!!
