Dr. Anna Phuong-Ly Tran

Only spoke to me for 5 minutes. Hadn't looked at my information beforehand and looked at the computer more than at me. When I was relating a difficult experience and started to weep, didn't even offer me a tissue. Then offered me a flu shot when I have an egg allergy. I felt worse when I left than when I went in.

The State of Arizona can’t quite seem to grasp its affinity of a 10% veteran population versus citizen and private practices. Vietnam “babies” nearly died from the crap surviving soldiers brought back from a war we never should have been in. That is not their fault. Military service was not optional. But since McCain has passed maybe some of the crony southern politics will stay OUT of medical and begin serving ALL people regardless of lobby kickbacks from ASU and heated voting battles. And Kyl? So far sideways up the backsides of the Waltons he could at least pass out free used turkeys for Thanksgiving.

I truely dislike the Westview Family Medicine office. It's so cold and unwelcoming, you're not acknowledged when you sign in. Every time I come here they're an hour and a half behind. That would be perfectly fine if I was seeing a doctor that actually cared about my health. Dr Tran talked to me in detail about tests I would be taking that week and how to prepare myself. She told me to not take my iron pills (which I desperately need) or vitamins for 3 days before I go in. They would be taking a urine, blood, and fecal tests. Turned out I didn't need to hold myself off my vitamins at all, or fast. It was all actually not at all as she described. The test was just a transvaginal ultrasound. She did not bring that up in our conversation. Did not tell my make an appointment or to drink 32oz of water before. I had to reschedule! Well, at my next appointment after she updated me on my tests, she and I began discussing birth control. She suggests the depo shot and I ask for a pamphlet so I… can educate myself on it. She tells me to look it up on my phone and to let her assistant know if I'll take it or not. Then LEAVES, And she expected me to decide before I leave. I try to get past it in shock. I do my own research, not a good birth control. I tell the assistant no to the depo shot, and ask about the mirena iud. The assistant and front office employee snap at me "We Don't Even Do That Here!" Okay. Why are my options of birth control only what THEY provide? Doesn't sound right. Time to look for a new family physician, and office. So so so unprofessional! This is not the only bad experience I've had.

The only reason came to see her because i don’t speak much English. But she don’t have an respect to the patient and listening what theyre trying to saying, so how could she know what it’s going patient. She should not became a dr because why she’s an helpful and care less about patients, evenly I’ll try spoke ours own language. Vietnamese. So I give up and going to American the most supporter and helpful and listened. Dr Tran she even not to look the patient face while they’re talk together, what do we call that racism level position. Does she the big money who fiiiiking care about that.... retired ASAP please that would be helpful..

I went to her as a new patient for a follow up after being diagnosed with phenomena from urgent care. She came in never intorduced herself sat down went right to the computer asked me questions and listened to my lungs. I toldher I was a smoker and have cut down to 5 a day she said that was not good enough then proceded to tell me morbiby obese and how I can get surgery. That is a last resort I would do it on my own. She basically judged me and I told her off right there and asked for another woman dr who I have my next apt with. Do not go to this woman she is downright horrible.

Went to this Dr on recommendation for diabetes control. I arrived 20 mins early for new pt paperwork. Still had to wait 45 mins in lobby to be called in. The MA “Sebastian” (Very sick looking guy, dressed in nasty goodwill looking attire) takes vitals and escorts me to exam room. Dr Anna Tran came in, laptop in tow, and w/o making any eye contact ID’d herself. W/O asking any questions she looks at my long list of meds and says she’s going to refill all of my prescriptions and leaves the room. Then I hear her in the exam room next door talking w another PT. After 1.5 hours passed, I was ticked off mad!!! I came out of my exam room and came face to face w Dr Anna Tran and I made the obvious point to her, “If this is the way you clowns run this circus, I don’t need you for as Dr!”. Dr Tran apologized and asked me to come back and it would be better. Against my better judgement, I booked the follow up after they called me about my labs. I arrived early for the follow up… appt only to find out they had cancelled my appt w/o notifying me and told me I was no longer eligible to be a patient of theirs. Clowns Clowns Clowns w Dr Phat Hoang at Westside Family Medicine! They’re just trading time for money. Front desk staff are equally as incompetent. Stay Away from this Circus Act of Quacks!

Sat in the waiting area for 45 minutes . Couldn't wait any longer. The office personal couldn't even give me an update why the long wait. I haven't been back. Although I do need my results. I dread calling to re-schedule my appointment. GOOD LUCK

I tried to tell this doctor something wasn't right. I lost excessive weight n got so sick I couldn't get outta bed. She kept referring me to behavior health. Without taking any labs, xrays, etc. My lungs collapsed at home & I almost died. This doctor never treated my issues, misdiagnosed me, almost cost me my life!

Dr tran should not be a Dr she dosent look at you she dont lisen she is allways on the run never help me with my bp never looked in to why is my bp the way it is i had a stroke on her clock and i told her im haveing neck pain for 3. Mo she told me to eat candy and it will go away till i could not take the pain any more and my neck mess grow out of controll so i went to the ER and the Dr came back and told me .i dont know how to say this ... BUT IT LOOKS LIKE CANCER .......... IF SHE HAD LOOKED AT ME PROPERLY NONE OF WHAT I WENT THUE WOULD NOT OF HAAPEND ...... OH YAH SHE ALSO GIVES OUT MEDS THAT SHE IS NOT licensed to........ BAD DR DONT GO

Dr Tran, seems to be to busy to look at you while talking.. You wonder if she is listening at all. I went to her for over 2 years.. Her staff never got back to you in a timely manner .. Always made excuses.. Staff doesn't make the correct notes, when you need, the doctor the most..Blood work was not followed up in a timely manner.. I complained and now she says I need a physiatrist. Very disappointed in the whole thing.. So I got a new doctor and I am very Happy..
