Dr. Annamaria Calabro, MD

I have been accompanying a friend who is a patient of Dr. Calabro for a number of years. So, I am in a good position to assess her. I have been impressed with her deep insight and a very caring manner. She also makes sure that you understood the rationale of her treatment recommendation. She listens well and takes the time to explain what she thinks might be going on and even explain the underlying mechanisms. I have never written a review, but I was prompted by one incongruous one-star review. My experience has been just the opposite and therefore I enthusiastically recommend her.

I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT OF DR CALABRO FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS. SHE IS AN EXCELLENT PHYSICIAN. TRULY AN ANGEL AND A BLESSING. SHE HAS SEEN ME THROUGH MANY HEALTH ISSUES . JUST 1 EXAMPLE. DR CALABRO OBSERVED AN AREA ON MY NOSE WHICH WAS OF CONCERN. A DERMATOLOGIST TOOK ONE LOOK SAID DRY SPOT GAVE ME CREAM. DR CALABRO REFERRED ME TO ANOTHER SCRIPPS DERMATOLOGIST . CANCER. SURGERY AND MY NOSE WAS ABLE TO BE SAVED.DR CALABRO TREATS THE WHOLE PATIENT.SHE IS PROFESSIONAL, THOROUGH,EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE.IF YOU ARE TRULY INTERESTED IN YOUR HEALTH TAKE YOUR LIST OF QUESTIONS CONCERNS. DR CALABRO WILL LISTEN AND ADDRESS ALL CONCERNS. EVERY SPECIALIST I HAVE SEEN HEARS DR CALABRO’s NAME AND THE RESPECT THEY HAVE FOR HER IS EXTREMELY PREVALENT AND COMFORTING. DR CALABRO’s schedule IS ALWAYS FULL BUT DEFINITELY WORTH WAITING FOR HER.

you have to wait for 45 days or so to get an appointment scheduled with her...whats the use of service if it doesn't come at the right time and you are paying so much for it.

Dr Calabro is very experienced, sharp and caring and takes the time to explain problems and recommendations and answer questions thoroughly.

My mom has been Dr. Calabro's patient for several years now. I have always been impressed with her compassion and genuine concern for my mother. Dr. Calabro has left no stone unturned in her care and has been proactive in treatment.

This Doctor has poor bedside manner. She does not seem to care. If you have questions she does not want to hear them, let alone answer them. She has been extremely rude to me on multiple occasions. Her staff is also rude! I would NOT recommend her to any one!
