Dr. Annapurna M Bhat, MD

I went in the office today for my regular appointment. It is clearly marked no mask no service. However a patient with fair skin pigment came in no mask no nothing, rude to the new receptionist and was allowed to receive services from both Drs. Then the rude indian nurse called my name took me to the back. When I entered the room, you could see the bottom prints of the previous patient on the sheet paper over the table. She quickly changed it cause she knows if Dr. Bhatt had saw that she would be highly upset. Mind u she didn't change it because it's the sanitary thing to do. We're in the middle of a pandemic, if she had just changed that when I entered the room then you know she NEVER sanitized the room after the last patient. So then in walks Dr. A. Bhatt, I let her know what I had endured at her office today and she mentioned she would talk to her staff. As I was leaving, I saw her pull over Nikki (black girl), who had nothing to do with the situation I experienced and blasted her… for something the other color receptionist and indian girl had done. I politely pulled her to the side and let her know that my complaint was never directed at her and apologized to her for being wrongly corrected. I'm writing this because this is not the first time I've witnessed Dr. A. Bhatt's rude behavior towards her black staff but today was too much.

I never met a suppose....be Dr. That Don't care about your issues you keep coming in month after month... Nothing is better only worst. You in the room 10min to hear her say . i need to see you in a month i have so.much pain she giving me the lowest medication dose..o I can keep coming back.. my Healer... Is Jesus. Please Don't if you have a severe illness

Dr. Bhat has been my Doctor since it was determined that I have Lupus. She has been in my life longer than most of my friends and family - and I plan to continue this relationship for as long as she practices medicine. Her empathy, concern and willingness to keep trying new things are wonderful. I have only had one complaint in all of the time I have been coming to see her and that is the wait time for an appointment. That being said, her staff has generally been pleasant and Laura is fantastic.

Dr. Anna - shame on you. When someone has a 9:30 appointment and is Still waiting at 10:30 to be seen shows that you have a complete lack of respect for your patients. I arrived at 9:10 for my 9:30 appointment. I filled out my paperwork for the new year and had a seat. The 70s called and they want your waiting room back. Along with thinly padded and frankly uncomfortable chairs. Several people were ahead of me. I understand the need to see a doctor without an appointment at times, but there were only 3 people in front of me. I scheduled this two weeks ago and was told that the first available appointment is 9:30 every day. I had to be at work at 11:00 - at 10:30 I had seen several people come and go. I had to leave. I will never darken her door again. She has no respect for people nor our time.

I loved seeing Dr Annapurna Bhat. she is extremely through . very pleasant. I miss going to her office and have had a hard time finding a new dr where i now live who compares to her.

Never go pass the appointment process because of the unprofessional, incompetent office clerks. When I first called, they said they will call me to schedule for an appointment after my referral doctor fax over my lab and office note. Didn't hear from them. So I called to confirm they received the fax, which they did but they just didn't bother to call me. Then they need to verify my insurance and promised to call me within 3 days. Again, never heard from them. So I called again and this time they said the girl who handled my paperwork is on maternity leave and they couldn't find my paperwork anywhere. So after 3 weeks from my initial call, they want to start over from scratch but no thanks, I am going to another doctor with able staff.

I've been seeing Dr.Bhat for about 17 yrs now, I love Dr.Bhat, she's always been very nice and considerate towards me, has always listened to whatever I've had to say and always gives me clear answers to any of my questions. If someone has a problem understanding her just speak up and ask the question again....."she don't mind". She has helped me so much with my lupus and I don't know where I'd be today without her help and support. She always walks in with a beautiful smile and a nice handshake to greet me and first question of how are you doing? I would recommend Dr.Anna to anyone suffering from any type of Arthretic problem she is a wonderful Dr.

First of all: There is a terrible language barrier since Dr. Bhat is from India.Second: She does not show any type of compassion or care towards the patient.She told me she only "treated the disease of Arthritis", and did not do Pain Management,but then on my last visit she told me her husband that works with her does pain management. So first she lied, and second now that she knows I will return, she conveniently tells me I can receive Pain Management from the other Dr. Bhat.

Please see Dr. Bhat. I went to Dr. Bhat when I thought I had a problem. I've had Lupus for years, and knew that something was wrong. I graduated from Duke, but was cut off from my health care coverage after I graduated. During that six month period, I went to see Dr. Bhat. She took blood samples, which sat for over thirty days without testing. In that time, my kidneys failed, and several other doctors confirmed that my kidney function failed over thirty days time. I paid Dr. Bhat over $230 for tests that were not done in time. After kidney failure, I had to undergo dialysis for four years, after which I was informed that I would not be able to bear children. If you want this kind of medical care, by all means, see Dr. Bhat.
