Dr. Anne Eleanor Bray, MD

I like that she is direct and to the point but is open to listening to concerns and doesn't make the appointment feel rushed. I love how she deals with my teenage son who just want to make an excuse for everything. She reiterates everything I have already told him!!

She is exceptional. After months of research during the pregnancy of our first child, we picked a pediatrician. Unfortunately, our pediatrician did not have rights at our delivering hospital. Thus, we enlisted the on-call doctor from Pediatric Care Specialists, PA during our hospital stay. Enter Dr. Bray. Initially, I was not in love with what appeared to be her all business bedside manner. After a week in the NICU for jaundice, she discharged us. Enter new, highly-researched pedestrian group. We were so disappointed in our new pediatrician's inattentiveness to our post-discharge jaundice monitoring that we went running back to Dr. Bray. I phoned her office at 10:30am, crying, and she was seeing my child at 2:00pm. It was the first time I observed her evaluate my child as all hospital evaluations were done in the nursery. Her excellence as a physician was evident in her laser focus and systematic approach to examining my child. Three years and another child later, Dr. Bray… does not disappoint. Every time we see her, I know my child is getting exceptional care. Dr. Bray's intelligence and skill was recently tested when she diagnosed our daughter with a rare and serious autoimmune condition, a condition she had not seen in at least ten years. I think some doctors know 98/100 kids are going to walk in the door with something obvious, e.g. the cold or flu. So those doctors bet on the likely answer. Dr. Bray does not. I think her approach is to look at each kid thinking that they are the 1 or 2/100 that have something else going. And when itâ??s a rare and serious autoimmune condition, and not the flu, she nails it. I bet on Dr. Bray, and because I do, our daughter has fully recovered and is off to the next thing that three year olds do. PS. She certainly takes care of the 98/100 routine conditions as well.

My daughter was diagnosed with an ear infection and had severe ear pain two days prior. I knew we needed to seek additional medical attention. Unfortunately our regular pediatrician was not on call that Saturday. Dr. Bray was very condescending toward me and my child. She even at one point grabbed her by the jaw to hold her face to "discipline her." My daughter was upset do to the fact that she has had such severe ear pain for so long and we have seen two doctors. Dr.Bray's bedside manner was unacceptable. If our Pediatrician did not belong to this practice, we would never go there again. We are on day 5 of this ear problem and neither doctor has succeeded in the diagnosis or treatment.
