Dr. Ann Householder agreed to seem me for a medical condition pertaining to dermatology. This was the result: • She spoke to me but did not examine me at all. • Based solely on our conversation, she told me there was nothing they would do for this condition unless I were younger. (In point of fact, there are treatments available, they simply do not provide them there.) • When I asked why she had agreed to see me in the first place, she had no answer. • When I complained to UC Medical that she had failed to do her job, she stubbornly refused to return my out of pocket expenses. Based on this experience, I would not see this physician again and cannot recommend her. James S., Cincinnati

Dr. Housholder takes the time to listen to her patients, if a condition can be treated at the time of the appointment she will do it right then so that a second appointment doesn't have to be made which saves her patients time, and lowers stress levels. The medical assistant is helpful and prior authorizations are completed in a timely manner and when the insurance denies something the office takes the time to send a rebuttal or finds an alternative solution when possible. De Housholder has a high patient load but treats each patient with dignity and respect and will stay late when a patient has an emergent situation or concern. I highly recommend her as she has found lesions that others said were of no concern that turned out to be very concerning.

I have DLE lupus and I'm trying to refill a medication that is essential for my condition, but its not available in my local pharmacy and they told me to contact my doctor's office. I have been trying to contact them for WEEKS! , they keep telling me that they will sort it out right away , then they don't and dismiss me. and the doctor doesnt even checks up on me Ever. WORST SERVICE I'VE HAD.
