Dr. Anne Elizabeth Massey, DPM

In contrast to the other comments I read, I felt as though I was unimportant and an annoyance to Dr. Massey. She may have been having a bad day but she barely spoke to me and bristled when I asked questions. It took over 8 weeks to get test results sent to me. During the visit she removed one of my large toenails. The following 3 nights I was in enough pain to keep me awake all night, despite taking Tylenol and Motrin around the clock. I contacted her for 2 tabs of any, even low dose, pain medication. I know the opiate epidemic has to be taken seriously but I think doctors are going overboard. I do know many people in my line of work who underwent a large nail removal and many of them told me they were treated with pain medication for 2 nights. Dr. Massey suggested I soak my toe in Epsom salts and water for the pain. The salt caused excruciating pain on the newly raw skin. It seems like something a podiatrist should know. By the 3rd day I could sleep. I'm going to give her another… chance.

I've had 3 surgeries performed by Dr. Massey and have received exceptional care. She makes you feel like you are the most important person and not just a number or paycheck. That feeling is reinforced when making an emergency appointment , Dr. Massey always makes room to squeeze me into her schedule and told me she would always do so. I will continue to receive care with her forever, I hope! Highly recommend anyone in need of podiatry care to visit her.

Dr.Massey is an amazing provider! She is kind and empathetic. She is very well versed and knows her stuff. You won’t be sorry if you need to see her!
