Dr. Anne-Marie Turnier, MD

As a health care provider and a long-time patient, I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Turnier. She is thorough, incredibly smart, and genuinely cares about her patients. When living out of state I met multiple other psychiatrists--which has made me all the more grateful for having her as my physician. I would recommend her to any of my patients or loved ones.

This psychiatrist is very good at convincing patients that she is doing a good job for them. I would not rely on this psychiatrist who does not recommend a single psychiatrist that is not herself, what-so-ever. Also has quoted snopesable "medical facts" that are provably false.

Saw her since I was in high school, and I'm 30 years old now, married and with a kid. I look back on our sessions and realize now just how helpful they were. Her advice resonates within me to this day and I cannot recommend her enough.

Dr. Turnier helped us through a difficult moment with our son. She took the time to really work with us on different treatment approaches and help us understand more about how to connect with him. I highly recommend her!

Difficult to follow up with, have to pay fee if you want her paged, doesn't always return phone calls/emails. Great during the 1/2 hour I see her, but not so great after that. Smart, easy to talk to (rare for a psychiatrist in my experiance), impossible to get in touch with. Feels disconnected from patients which makes me question how much I trust her and how well she knows me. Overall great if you're looking for medications.

This provider was eager to take our money (375$)and less eager to return phone calls and provide follow up care. Beware !

She will hold the patient's confidentiality, but would rather not treat a child in crisis if a parent threatens her with misleading legal documents.

My son was diagnosed with generalized anxiety and my younger daughter with mild ADHD. We have been seeing Dr. Turnier for about five years and I cannot say enough nice things about our experience with her. She is thorough, conscientious, extremely caring and very professional. Equally adept at communicating and relating to adults as well as children. I trust her implicitly and would recommend her to anyone. The treatment and follow-up (ongoing) with our son has brought a lot of peace and comfort to him as well as our whole family.

Dr.Turnier is, by far the best Psychiatrist I have found. She has helped me more than any other Dr. I have seen.
