Dr. Anne Terese Tuveson, MD

Anne is such a personable and efficient dermatologist. I have gone to many different dermatologists, but none equal Anne. She makes you feel very comfortable asking questions, and she never rushes you. She is a winner!

Dr Tuveson is quick to identify the issue, and very personable. Highly recommend.

I have been a patient for about 5 yrs and wouldn't use anyone else but Dr. Tuveson. She's very serious & professional, but at the same time, relaxes me so much that I hardly feel anything that's done.

Dr Anne is the best ! She caught a Stage 2 on the back of my wife's arm that was a tiny dot - amazing. She has done the same thing for several friends. Now we send everyone we know to her. You will be very pleased !!

When I moved to Raleigh I was in search of a dermatologist. Not a PA, I had already had a major melanoma. I am so glad I found Dr. Tuveson. She is professional, but friendly. I can always make her laugh. She sees me every 6 months and probably will for years. I always get a great check up and she checks my lymph nodes as well to make sure nothing sneaks up on me!

I transferred to her practice from another where the doctor had told me to come back in 5 years for my next full body check. On my first visit she found a basal cell cancer and sent me for a Mohs procedure. She has me returning every 6 months and has found another precancerous spot. I had been warned she likes to cut, but frankly I am relieved that she is so cautious. She is careful and not disfiguring (unlike other dermatologists I've seen). I am flabbergasted at the statement that she is uncaring and unprofessional. She has a dry sense of humor and is straightforward, but I don't consider that unprofessional.

Dr. Tuveson was unprofessional, personally insulting, and by far the worst example I have witnessed of a medical professional. I would not subject a friend or loved one to her "care".

She is the best dermatologist I've ever seen. She found 3 early cancers on my skin that I never would have suspected. Her exams are very thorough. She is extremely pleasant and professional. She often offers samples to see if XYZ works before writing a prescription. The wait time in the outer office is typically 5-10 minutes. She's been my dermatologist since she began practicing and does my cancer checks, treated scalp itching, removed unsightly "moles," and helped bring rosasia (sp) under control.
