Dr. Anne Marie Valinoti, MD

Dr. Valinoti is incredibly kind and thorough. I've been experiencing a difficult time with a parent's alzheimer's and she's been accessible, practical and willing to answer difficult questions.

Dr Valinoti has a kind, sensible manner and has never been in a hurry during my appointments. I have been a patient of hers for about 8 years. The office has a new email system that enabled me to get info that I needed very, very quickly. I believe it's a big improvement over the old system that previous reviewers mentioned. I recommended this doctor to my family members.

My rating breakdown is as follows: Dr. Valinoti: 4 stars Prospect Medical office staff: 0 - 1 star I like Dr. Valinotti; however, the office staff is terrible. I find them, on most occasions, to be rude and uncaring. When you call the office you never get to speak with anyone directly. You can leave a detailed message and IF they call back - they don't leave any answers, just tell you to call back again. Huge waste of time!! Forget about making appointments via the phone system. My biggest complaint is with their lab. When I went for bloodwork one of the phlembotomists was very sick, and walked around bragging about how ill she was! If she HAD to come to work, she should have at least been wearing a mask. Fortunately, she was not my phlembotomist or I would have walked out. Finally, the billing department miscodes physicals and bloodwork for physicals, which means you are erronously billed for annual, routine visits. Again, time spent trying to get through… to the office to resolve THEIR error. Although I cannot say anything negative about the Dr. Valinotti, the level of frustration with their office staff is enough to make a patient want to find a new doctor's office.

The doctor is terrific, very knowledgeable and caring. The problem is there is nobody to take your phone call to make an appointment. This is pathetic. You have to wait for someone to call you back. This is back in the stone age and completely a waste of time. They need to hire a person to schedule or create a website for appointments. This must be done.

I had an alcohol abuse problem and was in denial Dr Valinoti patiently, but persistently guided me to right treatment. She understood, showed me medically what I was doing to me, and saved my life. Great follow up and attention

Dr. Valinoti is wonderful doctor. She's very caring, with a gentle manner. She takes as much time is needed with her appointments and she knows what she's doing. I was very disappointed to have to find a new doctor. On several occassions it took 3-4 messages on my part and at least 2 weeks to get an answer, whether or not I spoke to her directly. As much as I appreciate Dr. Valinoti, that is not acceptable. I have found a new physician.
