Dr. Anne Silberger Wilson, MD

I really appreciate Dr. Wilson. She is very caring and brilliant. I really like the fact that she also is open minded about alternative medicine.

Dr. Wilson has been my doctor for approx. 8 years now. She is an excellent practioner,who takes the time to explain things, and never makes you feel rushed. She has very high standards of care, and leaves no stone unturned. I am an RN myself and would highly recommend her. My only criticism has to do with her office staff,who may not understand when to pass on a message to her,but that's is not about her....She always responds promptly and follows up when necessary. A+ MD in my book.

I have been seeing Dr. Wilson for over 10 years first in private practice then in her stint with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians' assembly line, and now, again in private practice. She is a very kind and attentive physician. She is the kind of doctor you want for your primary care physician.

Dr. Wilson takes the time to listen to you. She never seems rushed. She always follows up to make sure things are going ok.

I only left Dr. Wilson's care several years ago because she was not a participant in my company's new health plan. I found out that she is a participant in our new plan and I am so happy and will be returning to her immediately. I am so confident in her style and expertise that I have encouraged my 2 sons - 22 years old and 25 years old - to switch their primary caregiver to Dr. Wilson as well. I am actually looking forward to seeing her next month. How many people can say that they are actually looking forward to a doctor's appointment?

I would recommend this doctor to anyone in my family. In fact, most of my immediate and extended family has migrated to make Dr. Wilson their primary care physician. I feel like I can always call her office with questions, and they get back to me in a reasonable amount of time. When a prescription I was using wasn't working for me, Dr. Wilson researched alternatives and made a suggestion that provided me with solution I was looking for.

I'm so pleased with Dr. Wilson. She is clinically skilled, she listens and compassionate. I don't mind the 30 minutes wait because she takes her time and listens. Unlike many doctors I've had in the past, Dr. Wilson does not examine patients faster, make diagnosis faster and push them through the office faster. Her staff are friendly and efficient.

I've been seeing Dr. Wilson for several years now, after more than a decade of going from doctor to doctor who couldn't have cared less why I was there (even though 99% of my appointments are routine annual exams, it's still nice to be heard!). She spends quality time with each patient and gets to know them. I feel extremely comfortable with her.

I switched to Dr. Wilson about a year ago and have been very pleased. I have never had a problem getting a timely appointment and did not feel like she was rushing with me so she could get to the next patient. I believe she has been very thorough and helped me with my health issues.

My family has been with Dr. Wilson for 6-7 years now. She spends a lot of time to explain or investigate an issue. Of course this sometimes means you have to wait in the lobby a little past your appointment but she affords the same time to you once she gets to you. She is good about followup calls if you have questions on the phone and will spend time on the phone to explain test results. Her support staff has gotten better in the past 2 years since she hired another employee. I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about, she has 2 computers, she is not short tempered (in fact, VERY patient), and has great manners and communication. I have had zero insurance issues including a change in plans about 4 years ago.She can almost always see you the same day if you call. I guess the only thing I dislike is that they only work until 12pm on Friday. However, I was fairly ill one time and she saw me at 1pm, outside of regular office hours.
