Absolutely excellent quality of care and patient experience with Dr. Blevins. I had not seen her since she delivered my son 6 years ago. She is as kind, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive as she was back then and I appreciate her level of care. She took the time to listen to my concerns and help me with solutions so that I never felt rushed the entire appointment. Thank you for going above and beyond my expectations as a patient, Dr.Blevins.

My appointments with Dr Blevins were uncomfortable and discouraging, and I found her to even be rude at times, so I stopped seeing her. During my pregnancy, I started gaining weight faster than Blevins thought was healthy. She basically interrogated me about what I was eating, then acted like she didn’t believe what I said. She would always make critical remarks about my weight gain, would say I’m going to have a 9-10 lb baby, and would say things like, “this won’t be an easy birth”. I decided I didn’t want to work with a doctor who had already made up her mind that the birth would be difficult. Side note, I noticed she was a lot nicer to me when my husband was present vs when I came alone, which was interesting. I switched to seeing another doctor who was very encouraging and put me at ease. And if you’re wondering, when I gave birth, I showed up at the hospital just under 10 cm dilated, pushed for about an hour, gave birth to a healthy 7lb 11oz baby, and I was back to my… pre-pregnancy weight in a matter of months. This was my first pregnancy.
